The Difference Between Joe Biden,

A joke going around Democratic circles: What’s the difference between Joe Biden, Jesus Christ, and herpes? Joe Biden ain’t ever coming back. Four nurses not in on that joke feverishly sought to resuscitate the ailing candidate on ABC several hours before the broadcast of General Hospital Thursday. Nurse Sunny warned that Republicans “play dirty,” announced that “I think Lindsey Graham should be ashamed of himself,” and assured her guest, “You are authentic.” Nurse Joy countered Biden assertions with “That’s right” and “That’s true.” All seem perplexed that the recent impeachment inquiry derailed Biden rather than the president. “People know me,” the fourth-place finisher

"They no longer hold the sway they once did. Most of them do not know this..." Conservatives were fed up with the establishment types when Trump came along and gave voice to it. It didn't matter how much cash Jeb had, or how long Kasich had been in line waiting. Democrats had better start listening to their voters, before Bernie flips their party to socialism permanently. The days of power brokers sitting in a back room and picking the next president are over!

By looking back in history you can see that Biden has never been very good a Presidential Politics. Last time he ran he didn't do well once he announced his plans. Seems like it's happening again. President Trump will eat him alive, however, I don't think that he will get the chance. Joe and his family have already killed his chances of going to the white house.

Crooked Quid-Pro-Joe was the 'leading Democrat' based on hot air, establishment media bias, and also that the LoFo's had heard his name before, during his 8-year run as seat-warmer and assassination insurance for Zippy. During this time a lot of people named Gropin' Joe in the polls despite suspecting that Quid-Pro-Joe was a fool and a buffoon. Once he started actually making speeches, these suspicions were confirmed, however the voters could not state this loud enough to overcome the media's pre-conceived narrative until the Iowa caucus and then the New Hampshire primary shoved it in the Media's face. At the same time, Biden's usefulness to the Establishment ended with the impeachment failure. (The whole fake process was dependent on Biden being a 'political opponent' to Trump, so that the fake charge could be made that Trump was going after a political opponent rather than asking that corruption be investigated.) The combination of people seeing how inept Quid-Pro-Joe really is, and the ending of his usefulness to the 'get Trump' crowd, has placed Gropin' Joe firmly on the glide path to his position in his previous tries for the Presidency, where he was known as 'One Percent Joe'.

Why Wasn’t Andrew McCabe Charged? 4 replies

The Justice Department announced Friday that it is closing its investigation of Andrew McCabe, the FBI’s former deputy director, over his false statements to investigators probing an unauthorized leak that McCabe had orchestrated. McCabe was fired in March 2018, shortly after a blistering Justice Department inspector general (IG) report concluded that he repeatedly and blatantly lied — or, as the Bureau lexicon puts it, “lacked candor” — when questioned, including under oath. Why not indict McCabe on felony false-statements charges? That is the question being pressed by incensed Trump supporters. After all, the constitutional guarantee of equal justice under the law is supposed to mean

Michael Bloomberg’s campaign has leaked to the Drudge Report that Bloomberg is considering asking Hillary Clinton to be his running mate. This story doesn’t have much significance, on its face; the fact that a candidate is “considering” something isn’t exactly news. But it does reflect a few things: 1) I take it that Bloomberg is trying to beef up his bona fides as a “real” Democrat. It isn’t going to work: Democratic voters are not going to turn out for someone who endorsed George W. Bush in 2004 and enthusiastically advocated stop and frisk, among other heresies.

Rodrigo Duterte, the ever-unpredictable president of the Philippines, has given official notice to terminate the Visiting Forces Agreement that governs the presence of U.S. military personnel. Among other complaints, he said Americans were rude and failed to leave their weapons after conducting military exercises on the islands. The VFA will conclude in six months, which actually is great news. Although Americans always believed in continental expansion — even Thomas Jefferson spoke of an Empire of Liberty — “salt water imperialism” was alien to the nation’s founding. Proposals to turn America into a traditional colonial power by conquering foreign peoples generated strong opposition. After all, Americans had revolted against their British masters.

Back in November, we learned that disgraced former Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh had avoided a messy trial by pleading guilty to multiple counts of corruption and tax evasion. This all stemmed from her self-dealing scheme to “sell” hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of her self-published “Healthy Holly” children’s books to people and businesses who had dealings with the University of Maryland Medical System, where Pugh sat as a board member. At the time, I wondered what sort of deal she had cut with the prosecutors in exchange for the guilty plea. Whatever other information she provided to the state might not have turned out

Fifteen year’s later, the check is still in the mail. The Rev. Al Sharpton’s failed 2004 presidential campaign still owes more than $900,000. The unpaid debt of his committee, “Sharpton 2004,” has remained unchanged for a decade, according to its most recent FEC filing in March 2019. The campaign has not filed any of its required disclosure forms since then, earning multiple letters of rebuke from the feds. “If committees are unable to pay debts, they can file a debt-settlement plan with the FEC . . . committees could not just decide not to pay,” a spokesman from the Federal Election Commission told The Post.

President Trump is taking part in this year’s Daytona 500. Not as a driver, but as grand marshal, which means he gets to give the “start your engines” command to the 43 entrants in the Great American Race. It’ll mark the first time a president, sitting or former, has ever uttered the words at the event. The only other time a sitting president attended the race as grand marshal was when George W. Bush came in 2004, the year Dale Earnhardt Jr. won his first 500.

President Trump gets credit — and takes heat — for many things, but many folks don’t even know about one of his best accomplishments: blocking the federal government’s power grab for control of America’s suburbs. During the Obama administration, the Department of Housing and Urban Development tried to install Washington bureaucrats as the decision makers for how communities across all 50 states should grow. Using an obscure rule called Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing, HUD sought to remake America’s cities, towns and villages by forcing any community that was getting federal funds to meet racial quotas.

Now that as many as six serious Democratic candidates remain in the race, pundits increasingly believe the party is headed for a brokered convention. Hold on to your hats if that happens, because it’s even more complicated than it sounds. Presidential nominating conventions used to be “brokered” because the delegates were largely appointed by — and loyal to — political bosses. Delegates voted on multiple ballots as rivals vied for the bosses’ favor, making the quadrennial events the political equivalent of reality television. You could never be sure which governor or senator would be voted off the island and which would become the ultimate survivor.

“So mayor Pete is a Red Diaper baby! This explains a lot … ” So writes Charlie, a longtime reader of mine and of The American Spectator. Please note that Charlie didn’t call Pete a red, but a red-diaper baby. There’s a difference. And either way, it’s a point that isn’t irrelevant and should be dealt with and laid out carefully. Charlie sent me that email back in October and urged me to write about the subject. Given Mayor Pete’s surge in the polls, and given my repeated run-ins with the said “red-diaper” background Charlie is referring to, I finally decided to put something together. With the Democratic presidential field beyond the New Hampshire primary in flux, former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg has become the subject of intense discussion. Might he save Democrats from a lackluster lineup of candidates? Is he the great centrist hope? Can he defeat President Trump? Maybe, maybe, and maybe. But there is another question: Would anyone be discussing Bloomberg absent his $55 billion fortune? The answer, of course, is no. But, for the moment, with Bloomberg having never been in a debate, with few voters having seen him, and with none having had a chance to vote when his name is on the ballot,

NEW YORK CITY Is it possible that President Trump has already beaten Sen. Bernard Sanders? Four years ago, Bernie Bros stormed Iowa and took over the Democratic caucuses. Party leaders for the second time had crowned former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as the Democratic nominee already, and for the second time an unlikely interloper swooped in and smacked the crown off the top of her head. Mrs. Clinton had already been denied the nomination once eight years before. Party leaders and the Clinton Mafia were not about to let that happen again. They unleashed all the political dogs of war after Mr. Sanders and his wildly enthusiastic foot soldiers.
