Missing South Carolina six-year-old Faye Swetlik's body was found in a wooded area near her house before a male neighbor, 30, was found dead in his home.Authorities confirmed on Friday that Faye's body was found in woods between her home in Churchill Heights and a Napa Auto Parts store on Thursday around 11am. Police searching through rubbish trucks found 'a critical piece of evidence' in a trash can belonging to her neighbor Coty Scott Taylor, 30, who lived about 100-yards away from his home.

What s heart breaking story for the little girl to be found this way. God bless her and keep her. May her killer be the constant companion of Satan himself in hell for all eternity.

FTA: "However, Snellgrove said 'there was no danger to the public'." ... Killer might not have been known to law enforcement, but there's the problem. Almost always in these cases, the killer was a known nut; people seldom do crazy things like this without any prior signs.

What unspeakable evil. May God comfort Faye's family. I'm sure more will be revealed about Mr. Taylor from those who knew him and anything found in his home, as well as what happened to little Faye. I strongly suspect child pornography is a factor.

I'm not assuming anything about Mr. Taylor. He could have been an intimidated witness and silenced for all we know. The police aren't saying anything about him other than the two deaths are connected. It looks like there's a lot to this story.

So sad; it makes me think of how things have changed for kids (and not on a good way) since I grew up in the 50's. When I was Faye's age I'd go outside to play and I didn't come home until dinner time and after dinner in the summer I'd go back out and stay out until the streetlights came on. My parents gave me the rules I had to follow-no talking to strangers etc. but they never had cause to worry about me. Responsible parents no longer have that luxury today. This poor little girl may have felt safe since he was not a stranger but a neighbor. God bless this little angel.

May God grant little Faye eternal rest and consoling grace to her loved ones. "Police searching through rubbish trucks found 'a critical piece of evidence' in a trash can belonging to her neighbor" Were police searching trucks or cans? How could they find it in his trash can, if it were already emptied into the truck? Something seems not to add up there.

I don't know whether they found the critical piece of evidence in his personal trash can or in the garbage truck. "How could they find it in his trash can, if it were already emptied into the truck?" Maybe it was in the same tied-off plastic bag as his other garbage, such as discarded mail, bearing his name and address?

Attorney General William Barr is looking into the murky origins of the politically-charged Justice Department investigations that roiled American public life for the last three years.Just how did the FBI's "Crossfire Hurricane" investigation into the 2016 Trump presidential campaign get started? What led the FBI to look into whether President Trump was working on behalf of Russia? Why did the Justice Department use an ancient, never-enforced law as a pretext to interrogate then-national security adviser Michael Flynn, leading to one of the most troubled court cases in recent years? The headline sounded ominous: “Former Justice Dept. Lawyers Press for Barr to Step Down,” blared an article in Sunday’s New York Times. More than 1,100 former federal prosecutors signed a letter to condemn Attorney General William Barr and encourage Justice Department employees to tattle on the nation’s top lawman if they see anything naughty. The lawyers were outraged at Barr’s decision to override “line prosecutors,” including two holdovers from the Robert Mueller investigation, who had recommended an excessive sentence against Roger Stone. “Barr’s actions in doing the President’s personal bidding unfortunately speak louder than his words,” they wrote. “Those actions, and the damage they have done to the

Former President Barack Obama appeared to take a rare political jab at his successor in a tweet Monday that cast aspersions on President Trump's claims that he deserves credit for recent economic gains, a key reelection platform for the 45th president. "Eleven years ago today, near the bottom of the worst recession in generations, I signed the Recovery Act, paving the way for more than a decade of economic growth and the longest streak of job creation in American history," Obama said, including with the tweet a picture of his signature on the 2009 stimulus package.
