Alabama Dem Introduces Legislation
Mandating Vasectomies for Men at Age 50 or
After Third Child

An Alabama Democrat state lawmaker from Birmingham has introduced legislation that, if passed would mandate, “every Alabama man to undergo a vasectomy within one month of his 50th birthday or the birth of his third biological child, whichever comes first,” according to a report from Alabama-based Yellowhammer News. The bill, filed by State Rep. Rolanda Hollis (D) on Thursday, is viewed by some a response to the 2019 passage by the state legislature of the Human Life Protection Act, a law that is currently making its way through the federal courts that ban abortion with very few exceptions.

If you read the article through, you come to this little gem: 'Hollis has a reputation for these antics. During the 2019 Alabama abortion bill debate, she read the poem “If My Vagina was a Gun,” attempting to inject the gun rights issue into the pro-life discussion.' So basically what we have here is Alabama's version of MadMax Waters. A democrat who's mentally unstable, yet will continue to get re-elected by their mentally unstable districts. She was also arrested for domestic violence last year. But, since she's a 'Rat, all is forgiven and you're a racist for even thinking she did anything wrong.

He faces up to a combined 42 years in prison. Nah, not the shooting kind. We’re talking about the raging civil war within the Democrat Party between the Bernie wing and “everybody else” (as orchestrated by the Democrat Party establishment). A previous article discussed the schism and the reasons why the Democat Establishment fear a Bernie nomination. The Democrats know that, despite their best efforts to persuade Americans otherwise, the country still supports capitalism over socialism, and that an overt socialist (Communist, in my view) like Bernie would doom the party in November, including destroy the candidacies of down-ballot Democrats in close races.

Four years after his hostile takeover of the White House, President Trump’s second campaign bears little resemblance to the first — he’s flush with cash, buoyed by an uptick in poll numbers, and brimming with confidence after surviving investigations, an impeachment and myriad controversies that have helped unite once-wary Republicans behind him. Unlike his slapdash, anything goes 2016 campaign, Trump now can rely on a massive, professionalized apparatus that has helped raise more than $200 million, deployed eager surrogates to early primary states, and built an extensive field operation and advertising network months before Democrats are likely to choose their nominee. He also has found new ways to break political taboos,

While there is nothing humorous about the coronavirus, as the death toll in mainland China has surpassed 1,100 people. China’s National Health Commission reported that a total of 108 people died on Monday — this being the first time a single-day death toll has reached triple digits. In addition, the first U.S. evacuee from China known to be infected with the virus has been identified after being mistakenly being released from a San Diego hospital, only to later return. So it’s understandable that people’s anxiety level is creeping up, which only makes a prank on the New York subway that much more humorous, albeit, in a depraved, evil sort of way.

As an initial caveat, understand the difference between confidence and overconfidence. The former is a realistic expectation going forward of favorable electoral winds based on a thoughtful analysis. The latter is thoughtless and dangerous based on emotion and desire, rather than data and realism. Republicans learned this lesson during the George HW Bush presidency.
