Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) on this week’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday” accused President Donald Trump of possibly not understanding the difference between communism and socialism.
In a video clip, President Trump said, “I think he is a communist. I think of communism when I think of Bernie. You can say socialist. Didn’t he get married in Moscow?”
Sanders said, “It gives me no pleasure to say this, we have a president who is a pathological liar. He lies. No, I did not get married in Moscow. I participated in creating a sister city program.”
He continued, “Obviously, I am not a communist. I presume the president knows the difference.

Neither are socialism nor communism are compatible with The Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights.

I notice the vast majority of commies are very old or very young, and contribute very little to society yet expect to be supported by it.

Specifically, Bern, which of your policies is NOT communist doctrine?
Take your time.

Bernie is far more comfortable in the embraces of Stalinism than in Jefferson.

Someone should ask Bernie what the second S in USSR stands for.

He really can't pay for this stuff other than cripple all of us. I hate to tell him that even if we went all in on climate change and begin to live in caves, China and India won't. That idea is comparable in nature to a no-peeing section in a public pool.

He could have had a "sister city" program with a town in Australia, but for some reason they picked the Soviet Union.

Bernie is both. Disarming the populace indicates an intention to take over by force. Taking the property and money of the populace indicates an intention to control everything and a policy of sharing equally among those who produce and those who do not. In either scenario, Bernie gets to keep his stolen millions of dollars and his three homes.

When Bernie and his people talk about killing their political opponents or putting them through re-education, they are communists. Listen to the rhetoric coming from his campaign, God help us if he wins.

Communists call themselves "Socialists", and use the words interchangeably. Socialists in the West want to be socially acceptable and distance themselves from the brutality of Communism by insisting that their doctrine is democratic and less extreme. But they never seem to have anything bad to say about the practice of Communism, and in fact flirt with and romanticize it, like Bernie did in his honeymoon junket to the USSR. So if you want to tweak Bernie, calling him a Communist is pretty close to the mark.

Excellent quote from Ayn Rand above. Bernie does not know he is a communist, or does he?

There isn't any substantive difference. And if you are not a Commie, Bernie, why did you love the Soviet Union so much that you had your honeymoon there?
Liar and a Commie.

Bernie wasn't married in Moscow? I see. But during Bernie’s mayoral tenure, Burlington VT formed an alliance with a city northeast of Moscow. And in 1988 Sanders and his blushing bride, Jane decided it would be a perfect place for their honeymoon.
So shall we call it a distinction without a difference, Bern? –Vets for Trump 2020

I love how this carpetbagging punk from NYC, who never had a job until he learned to pander to moron voters, thinks he is so smart. Mocking a man who built a real estate empire that circles the planet, whose first political office was the Presidency, but the lying punk, sellout thinks he is smarter. Sell out, lose gigantic or win. I actually, in angry moments hope he does win. IF that every happened we could have that total Civil War II, because this filthy punk will push us to it. One way or another the farce known as 'bernie' has to end.
I'll give him one thing. I never thought he would manage to find so many people dumber than him. They can all enjoy the second smackdown by the DNC that is in process.

Well Bernie I'm sure that President Trump knows the difference and you know what else, so do I and about sixty million voters that don't want you or your socialist communist types in the white house. Get lost Bernie.

If you want to get technical - there are a lot of factions with Socialism. There are Mensheviks, Bolsheviks, Leninists, Stalinists, Maoists, and devotees of the original Marx/Engels philosophies. They all seek extreme government control over all facets of society. Period.

Pretending that "socialist" is different from Communist is always what they do, BEFORE they get power.
After they get power....you get to find out that there actually is no difference.
