The first Netflix film produced by former President Obama and Michelle Obama‘s production company won an award on Sunday during the Oscars and, while accepting the award, the filmmakers recited Karl Marx’s Communist manifesto. Julia Reichert of “American Factory” received the award and said: “Working people have it harder and harder these days – and we believe that things will get better when workers of the world unite.” The term “workers of the world unite,” comes directly from the communist manifesto and was widely noticed by media critics. Obama praised them, writing on Twitter, “Congrats to Julia and Steven, the filmmakers behind American Factory, for telling such a complex,

The amazing thing about this is that Obama had to actually produce a film to win the award. I would have thought they would have just given him an award for existing.

I was at dinner with friends last night, and one woman asked " was anyone watching the Oscars before they left for dinner?". The five of us all discussed how we really weren't interested in the Oscars, and several of us mentioned how horrific the trailers for multiple new movies were when we went to see "1917" recently. Clearly, nobody at that table was much of a fan of the current garbage that most movies are, and not interested in the Oscars, either. Hollyweird has really about run their course. 90% or more of the current movies are total trash, and most actors and actresses are such leftist morons that they make you want to avoid their movies at all costs.

Well I for one enjoyed the fact that the communist producers decided to dress up as the Conehead Couple (We are from France) from an earlier era of Saturday Night Live. The female (I think) was the more assertive of the two parental units,as her mate and (forgive the pun) co-producer, Beldar, stood by her side. Nice of Obama to find work for such enterprising alien admirers of Marx.

So twice now he's been recognized by global and Hollyweird leftists and given awards that previously needed to be earned, not just handed to him/her. That's truly communistic, is it not? Getting what should be earned for free, at the expense of people who really worked for it. No surprise to anyone. Losers giving losers "participation" prizes is par for their course. I don't watch any of the award shows anymore. When I was a kid, before politics entered every show, it was about beautiful dresses and real acting. Not any longer--it's a freak show with people who think they're smarter than their audience and want to drum that "fact" into our heads. MAGA!!! KAG!!! TRUMP 2020 AND BEYOND!!! Harvard Law School professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz revealed in an interview on Sunday that he has proof that former Democrat President Barack Obama ordered the FBI to investigate someone after far-left billionaire George Soros asked for the investigation. President Trump has now been acquitted, but Democrats hope his impeachment will disgrace him “for life” and tilt the 2020 election. Don’t bet on it. Sen. Lindsey Graham has a better idea. Graham is proposing post-impeachment investigations by the Senate to “get to the bottom” of the Democrats’ impeachment hoax. That will pin the disgrace where it belongs — on the party that dragged the nation through an unwarranted ordeal. Many Republican senators and Vice President Mike Pence are brushing aside the idea of investigations, saying they want to “move on.” Not so fast.

Robbery is up almost 30% in New York City since the first of the year. Is this a statistical blip, a trend — or a New Year’s bail-reform gift from Albany, robbery now largely being a revolving-door offense in the Empire State? Time will tell, but consider this as well: According to the latest NYPD stats, the number of shooting victims in the city is up 31% since New Year’s Day — so at the very least Gotham appears to be off to a rocky 2020 compared to last year. Which should not surprise: Not only does government usually get more of what it encourages, when it comes to
