More winning. A news reader said something about 'the Pentagon welcoming him back and "he will be protected from any retribution" '. He needs some serious career retribution for his traitorous, corrupt actions. And why not his damned brother, too? Both need to be doing latrine cleanlness surveys in Alaska and maybe in a base in Iraq somewhere.

It appears that they are treating this like the reduction in force at NSC that was talked about rather than an outright firing. Vindman will apparently return to the DoD, which had detailed him to the NSC. No mention of where twin brother might land, but neither will be in the WH. Good.

Future new administrations should use this as the golden example of why when an opposing party takes over the White House, they need to purge 100% of the existing staff. Find them equivalent pay positions elsewhere in the government if they're permanent government personnel, but get them out of the White House and Executive Building. Otherwise they'll spend years having to watch their backs against political traitors.

He's not fired. He was removed from his detail at the NSC. Only his component commander can take further action. My guess: General officer reprimand, special OER, retirement, end of career. I think that's about all we can hope for given that the uniformed chain of command failed to act earlier. However, as I mentioned in another post, it's possible he could get a very public humiliation from the CINC.

Mr. Vindman in his hearsay speech took aim at investigative journalist John Solomon for what, not reading the nightly news narrative. Mr. Solomon responded with 28 documented facts that countered the prepared scripts by Vindman, Yavonovitch and Taylor. Lucky for them they weren't under oath in a real court of law where this evidence would have been admissible.

The immediate question facing the Democratic Party is what to do now the Russian collusion investigation and the impeachment of Donald Trump both failed. Should they enter into another high stakes confrontation or should they lower the stakes? Each defeat, however subjectively glorious, exacts a price. A sufficiently long losing streak can bankrupt any party no matter how much political capital they start have. The Democrat centrist wing is already broke according to a New York Times op-ed by Elizabeth Breunig. "The center cannot hold. Bernie Sanders’s strong showing in Iowa is a turning point in the battle between the party’s establishment and left wing."

TAMPA — A Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputy shot and killed a dog along the Gasparilla Parade route Saturday evening after it attacked a patrol horse, authorities said. Deputies called for backup outside the high-rise 345 Bayshore Condominiums at about 6:30 p.m., shortly after the Parade of Pirates wound past the spot near the exit ramp for Tampa General Hospital. Large crowds were still gathered along the Bayshore Boulevard route at the time of the attack and watched as the dog, believed to be a pit bull, charged at a team of horses carrying mounted patrol deputies from both the Sheriff’s Office and the Tampa Police Department. However, he said, he is more than willing to make sure one new person visits the proceedings: him. "I'd love to go, wouldn't that be great?" he said. It's impossible to avoid news of the Dems' Big Sham, which is so "exciting" that CNN spent hours on Monday running a never-ending picture-in-picture livestream of the empty Senate chamber. If that doesn't get your blood pumping, what could? Democrats can't come right out and say they're impeaching Trump just for being Trump, even though that's exactly what they're doing. So they held this big investigation, and found that yes indeed, President Trump had committed foreign policy. Yet, we’ve seen them push for a fight over witnesses that could very easily extend the trial longer than necessary at a time they really don’t want to be pulling their candidates off the campaign trail. So, what’s their strategy exactly? Is it about pulling their radical and less electable senators away from early voting states and clearing the way for the supposedly more electable Joe Biden to get the advantage? But, if the Democrats insist on a whole slate of witnesses, the possibility of Republicans calling Hunter Biden,

The bill, among many things, calls for the decriminalization of illegal immigration, would make it more difficult to deport convicted criminal aliens, empower immigration judges to nullify deportation orders, and also calls for the return of previously deported illegal aliens.
