The rich are different from you and me — they can buy themselves instant presidential campaigns.
Former New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg has elbowed himself into the Democratic nomination race solely on the basis of his fortune.
His campaign is high-handed as only a billionaire many times over could even contemplate. He entered late, is skipping the early contests and hasn’t participated in any of the debates to date (although that will change soon, thanks to the Democratic National Committee retrofitting its rules for Bloomberg).
I was looking for some info on home repairs, and went to You Tube, every other ad was from ‘Lil Mike...

But Bloomie is a Republican, why is he not supporting the President? Oh, that's right, he ran for mayor as a Republican because it was convenient at the time.

Money alone can not buy success, as demonstrated by the three years of losing that George Soros is now experiencing. A disarmed America was supposed to be in chaos and civil war right now with millions of illegals pouring over the borders but other than a few meager riots in liberal cities, the Hope 'n Change that the evil old Nazi began financing in 2008 is not happening.

The DNC let themselves be bought. In politics, money talks. But he isn’t in it for the Democrats, or even for Americans. He is in It for Bloomberg and his massive ego. The Democrat party is in a shambles right now. Impeachment failure, terrible messaging and horrible socialist candidates. There is a war going on between the establishment, who have their hands in corporate pockets, and the Leftist lunatics like Sanders and AOC. If the DNC shoves Bloomberg down their throats the Party will split. They will never win another national election. It has come to this.

#6, the same applies to Illary. The Bernie thugs will go nuts if she tries to waltz in at the last minute.
I don’t know about the rest of you but I’m enjoying the hell out of this election season!

Yo, short dude: If money could've bought it, Hillary would've had it. Get over yourself.

Nanny Bloomberg is the Dems Mitt Romney. He's got bucks and is willing to say and do anything to get his name in the paper and win an election ... party be damned. He rode Rudy's coattails as far as they would take him.
The funny part of all this is that the $1+ BILLION Bloomy plans to spend will help the Trump economy that Little Mike claims isn't "helping everyone".

If we wanted to be fair, no one would be able to do what Bloomy and Steyer are doing without having to give the same amount that THEY spend to their opposition. They want Socialism? Then don't allow them to use the fruits of their Capitalism for purchasing an election.

This doesn't look good for the dims and the dim party. Self-made chaos. All they had to do was accept defeat in 2016 and move on. But, nope, had to take a route of hate instead. I don't know who among the globalists they are having to please right now (Obie, do you know?), but, Bloomers must have gotten told to start paying to play or else.

Mini mike is on the stage because the dem establishment is terrified of a Bernie primary win. To them the Left are useful idiots but they are never to actually run for serious offices like President or Senator. The fact that he is also self funded is a secondary appeal because the DNC is broke.
As others have pointed out, no Bernie will result in an exploded party, perhaps a worse result than a Bernie primary win and flameout in the general election that would result in a dem loss of power for a while. The former possibility might destroy the party. Decisions, decisions.

When there were attempts to limit spending on elections, particularly by corporations who were legally considered "individuals", there were many defending such gross spending as "Free Speech" and protected by the Constitution. So, Bloomberg is a zillionaire committed to spending his own money on his own candidacy. He's not a corporation...what exactly is the beef from the "Free Speech" crowd?

In Florida we are seeing 3-4 commercials per hour on Fox and the local stations (which are getting rich). His latest ad makes it clear that he has Obama's endorsement. We have seen no denial from the Obama people but the main voice in the commercials is Obama praising him back in 2014 videos. Not an honest guy, not likable, and I don't think people outside of NYC want him telling them how to live their lives from guns to what they eat or drink.

I'm wondering how Bloomberg News Service can continue to operate with Mike a candidate that they cover. It seems like there could be an FEC complaint for every negative article about President Trump or any other candidate in the primaries as in-kind donations to the Bloomberg presidential campaign.

I reject the entire stupid premise.
Since when is someone spending his own money an "assault on democracy"? But then again - - this was written by Little Richie - - whose vaunted status as a NeverTrumper only proves how dumb he is.
Spend all you want, Mini Mike - - you still won be convincing.

He will try to buy the Whitehouse. He is already buying the Democrats. Watch his ads. He brags about the Democratic party doing what he tells them to do. Bloomberg should be given the bum's rush. He's small enough for it.

Bloomberg will probably select Hillary as his VP! I see Bloomberg is on TV more than Schiff, Pelosi, Schumer & Nadler combined.
