For a few years now, she has been exhibiting symptoms of dementia, and it is obviously getting worse. She (like anyone else) should have retired while still productive, rather than burning out and destroying her legacy.

The problem with kicking out Pelosi is that 99% of the rest of the unindicted loons remain in power. When it comes to the Democrats, we're beyond the "You're fired!" phase and now must enter the "You're indicted!" phase. Which goes double of course for their media co-conspirators in crime.

I hope the GOP Congress continues to bring this topic to light on every tv and radio program they appear on. They need to talk about how Pelosi is no longer fit to lead after her behavior and needs to be removed. Don't let her get away with it.

Corporate media news outlets reacted with predictable venom to President Trump’s triumphant post-acquittal victory lap, Thursday. Trump presided over a jubilant crowd of conservative politicians and supporters in the East Room of the White House, and was in the mood to celebrate. It was a joyful and raucous event that most people in the room appreciated. But not the sourpusses in the mainstream media.(Snip)“It was evil, it was corrupt, it was dirty cops, it was leakers and liars,” Trump said, calling the Russia hoax “all bullshit.” He noted that if the same things had happened to former president Obama, the perpetrators would already be serving time in jail.

What an unexpected sorbet Senator Mitt Romney (R-Utah) served up on Wednesday afternoon. (Snip) This odd man, so overbrimming with conscience and full of consultation with the Almighty, has finally revealed his purpose in returning to public life. His incandescent conscience managed to be a self-enriching asset-stripper at Bain and Company. He possessed a near-Olympian talent for flipping in all four directions on practically every public policy question from abortion and healthcare to taxes. But he could not manage his spirit of vengeance. As an authentically scriptural man, Mitt Romney would know that it is the “God of Vengeance, God to whom vengeance belongs.”

The privileged resolution, which was introduced Wednesday by Texas Republican Rep. Kay Granger, blasted Pelosi’s public shredding of the text of the address as “a breach of decorum” and said it brought “discredit on the House.”

She placed the shredded copy in a stack on the dais as Trump made his way to greet members of Congress. Asked afterward why she tore the speech up, Pelosi told reporters it was "the courteous thing to do given the alternative."

Before you crucify me for not condemning “the traitor,” please hear me out. My position has nothing to do with whether I agree with Romney’s “guilty” vote on the first article of impeachment. And it has nothing to do with whether I believe he is a true conservative. Or even a loyal Republican for that matter. It has to do with something far deeper. Are you willing to hear me out? Romney’s vote to convict President Trump of “abuse of power” for inquiring into the flow of money from Ukraine into the pockets of the Bidens after the appearance that Vice President Joe Biden had directly intervened in Ukrainian internal affairs either to repay the favor or shield the corruption from sunlight, is among the most degraded public acts of a generation.
