AOC rips Rush Limbaugh as 'virulent
racist': 'Truly nauseating' he was

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez responded to President Trump’s State of the Union address Tuesday night, ripping the president for his “Oprah moment” of awarding the Presidential Medal of Freedom to conservative talk radio icon Rush Limbaugh, who she described as a “virulent racist.” Ms. Ocasio-Cortez boycotted the president’s speech but responded to it in a 30-minute Instagram Live video, in which she claimed Mr. Limbaugh was beneath the award and questioned the authenticity of his reaction when he received the award in the middle of the address. “Him pretending to be surprised was such a joke that this has been news all day,”

The racist tip-stealing Latinx barmaid sure is opinionated for someone with such minimal intellect. Are New Yorkers OK with their representative hurling vile and baseless charges at a man who's gravely ill?

When the news came out that thanks to the census numbers, NY was slated to lose a seat in congress, I was and still am hoping her district goes away. I want her to lose this year, for it will deny her a congressional pension. I know she has to win two more times, but the idea of her qualifying for a lifetime pension is just beyond the pale for me. She didn't even bother going last night, and she rips a man who is an absolute pioneer in talk radio. He even gave Chris Matthews a huge break back in the day. Think the brat is grateful about that? Most of us here have listened to Rush for many years, 32 years in our case. Rush can be provocative, but I have never heard a racist or nasty word from him. He has an incisive mind, critical and clear, and he has never --in my experience-- been duplicitous. He is who he is. It was through Rush we became acquainted with Thomas Sowell and Walter Williams, and Clarence Thomas whom Rush defended, as he did anyone, regardless of race or ethnicity, who shared his conservative political philosophy. This immature woman is ignorant. She's dangerous because she thinks she's smart and important and infallible. Anyone who takes this opportunity to attack Rush is profoundly sick in the soul and sick in the mind.

Pompeii's ancient drainage system is in such good condition that it is set to be put back into active service, despite being built almost 2,300 years ago. A 1,500ft stretch of tunnels underneath some of the famed Italian city's most iconic structures was originally built to drain water downhill away from Pompeii's centre. Analysis of the tunnels revealed they had been almost untouched for millennia and the complex system is still in excellent condition. 'The entrances to the drains were blocked but since we have problems today with flooding from rain we will start using them again,' Massimo Osanna, the director of the site, told The Times.

Plug-in hybrid cars can emit up to three times more carbon dioxide than advertised as real-world tests show some are more polluting than lighter petrol vehicles. Hybrid cars make use of a battery-powered electric motor to support their internal combustion engine and are often touted as a green choice. However, aseries of studies have revealed that the fuel consumption rates of the hybrid vehicles are far greater in the real world than in testing conditions. The reason for this is that hybrids—which contain an extra electric motor and battery—tend to be heavier than their petrol counterparts.

President Trump delivered a historic State of the Union Address on Tuesday night. Upon entering the House chamber President Trump handed Speaker Pelosi a signed copy of his State of the Union speech as is required. According to Carl Hibgie — US law requires that Pelosi preserve any official government document: [tweet] Nancy Pelosi chose to very publicly destroy the document instead. [Video] According to 18 U.S. Code § 2071. Speaker Nancy Pelosi is commonly referred to in Washington as a master tactician. But like the partisan impeachment fiasco and the humiliating Iowa caucus disaster, her selection of Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer to deliver this year’s response to President Trump’s State of the Union address was a major strategic misstep. The selection of Whitmer was a politically calculated decision to introduce a relatively new name on the national scene from a state that will play a critical role in November. The irony of Whitmer’s selection, however, is that she represents exactly what is wrong with today’s Democratic Party — unrealistic promises, massive tax hikes,

FBI Director Christopher Wray said Wednesday that the FBI agents involved in the surveillance of Carter Page who are still at the bureau have been referred to the FBI’s Office of Professional Responsibility for possible disciplinary action. During a House Judiciary Committee hearing, Wray noted that most of the FBI officials who oversaw Crossfire Hurricane, which involved surveillance of Page, have left the bureau and are no longer subject to disciplinary review. He said the FBI personnel who worked on that probe and who still have jobs at the FBI are mostly line-level agents.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton ripped Senate Republicans after they voted to acquit President Trump on two impeachment charges of obstruction of Congress and abuse of power. "As the president's impeachment trial began, Republican senators pledged an oath to defend the Constitution," Clinton tweeted. "Today, 52 of them voted to betray that oath—and all of us. We’re entering dangerous territory for our democracy. It’ll take all of us working together to restore it." Clinton, 72, lost to Trump, 73, in the 2016 presidential election and has spent much of the time since repeatedly claiming she actually won because of the popular vote.

Former CIA Director John Brennan lashed out at Senator Rand Paul for blowing up the impeachment trial by dropping Eric Ciaramella’s name on the Senate floor. Last week Supreme Court Chief Justice Roberts played politics and REFUSED TO READ SENATOR RAND PAUL’S QUESTION on the Anti-Trump whistleblower during the Senate impeachment trial! On Tuesday during his closing comments Senator Rand Paul read aloud his question on the floor of the US Senate. Rand Paul named the anti-Trump CIA operative Eric Ciaramella and his NatSec-crony-turned Schiff-aide Sean Misko on the senate floor. Brennan planted Eric Ciaramella in the White House in order to spy on President Trump, according to investigative reporter Paul Sperry,

Is it too early to contemplate a search for a clone of Donald Trump for the 2024 election? Maybe not! But is Trump replaceable? The man who restored America’s pride, dignity, optimism and hope after a devastating eight dismal years of Barack Hussein Obama! Trump officially entered the Republican Presidential race on June 16, 2015 with a simple yet powerful message: ‘Make America Great Again.’ Trump stirred up the hornet's nest that is Washington D.C. when no other President has dared to even go there. This resulted in a strong reaction from the media, the Democrat Party, Hollywood, the elitists and globalists, even worldwide socialists. Trump was not a politician,

DES MOINES — Maybe it was the threat of bad weather. Maybe it was a seating assignment debacle. Maybe it was a struggling campaign organization that still hadn’t found its footing. But as Joseph R. Biden Jr. spoke at a major Iowa Democratic Party dinner in November, one thing was clear: His support appeared tepid compared with the vocal cheering sections of top rivals. The reception angered Mr. Biden and his top aides — and it left little doubt about his standing, three months before the nominating process in the Democratic presidential race would begin: The former vice president was in deep trouble in Iowa.
