Hah-Hah! Ted Cruz turns out to have a sense of humor. Video captured the Texas Senator give a little Pelosi SOTU clap during voting today to shut down the impeachment scam. Go Ted! (Tweet/Video) Caleb Hull put together a clap comparison. Who did it better?

You all know how we feel when the GOP loses their spine and they cave or fail miserably, the dems must be near the padded room/straight jacket faze. They were "all in" on this fake impeachment, they were lied to by the dems and media daily for YEARS, and now.... nothing but failure.

Senator Ted Cruz is busily making friends and mending fences, both in Washington and in the state that elected him. When Robert Francis O'Rourke threw a bit of a scare into him, he realized how badly he had alienated Texas voters. In DC, he knows now that the phony filibuster in the Senate earned him no praise among his colleagues and, in fact, convinced many of them that there was no substance to Ted Cruz, that he was just another spotlight grabber.
Now, however, Cruz is aiming for the Supreme Court and he would be terrific there. He needs the Senators he previously offended and he needs a GOP president. I wish him good luck and I applaud his conciliatory efforts.

I'll relax when the vote to acquit is done and the President can move on with keeping America great.

God bless him, that's funny.
He and others need to just CRUSH Fancy Nancy and the rest. Every time impeachment is mentioned they need to talk about stupidity, lies. evil motives and humiliation. 'Till the cows come home.

Ridicule is such an effective weapon. Glad to see the Pubbies learning how to use it. We can thank POTUS for teaching them how.

Thank you #2. I needed that information. Ted Cruz disgusted me so much with his Senate shenanigans that other senators couldn’t support. He caused a lot of unnecessary scorn to be poured on us Republicans and it looked like he wouldn’t listen to anyone.
Maybe that shellacking President Trump gave him along with that closer than expected Senate race bloomed a bit of wisdom in his soul. Hope so. I always wanted to like him but sometimes it was just too hard.

Unlike a previous poster, I have no problems with senators who swim against the DC tide. That is what they are supposed to do. Worrying more about colleague approval than what is best for the nation and what WE want is where all members of congress should be. Having said that, Cruz is a great debater and a good lawyer. If he is mending fences, that is good. I would have to see more of his 'revised' career before I could support him for the Supremes. He is certainly better than Captain Skateboard ever would be by a long country mile.

I think when he realized that they eavesdropped on him too, he got on board with Trump.
He is slowly earning his way back with me, and hopefully my fellow Texan voters too.

Ted's move was spontaneous and my kind of humor. Nancy , on the other hands, looks like the trained seal that she is and always has been.

I'll relax when the vote to acquit is done and the President can move on with ... defending against the Dems' next grand scheme to keep him too busy defending himself to get anything else done. Puke Pelosi and her seven dwarfs positively suck.

#2, how do you feel about Mitt Romney now that you changed your opinion of Ted Cruz?

Oh I so agree with my fellow Texan, #2. I want Senator Cruz on our Supreme Court. He has all my best wishes.

I think #2 is wrong to imply that Cruz has not been a man of substance. He has provided substance to a number of Supreme Court cases before he ever came to the Senate.
I do agree that he would be better on the Supreme Court. But I would almost rather that he become some kind of super solicitor, arguing for the constitution, like he did in the Heller case. We've got plenty of good people from Texas who could cast the same votes in the Senate.
