Former Harvard Law Professor and noted author Alan Dershowitz had more bad news for Democrats on Friday night. When President Trump is acquitted next week he will no longer be impeached. It will be over. It will be removed from his record.Sorry, Nancy. The charade is over. Alan Dershowitz: Nancy Pelosi has pulled a real sharp one. She’s said even if he’s acquitted and vindicated he’s still impeached. That should not be how it is. Why? He did not have a fair trial. He was indicted. And what happens if a person is acquitted after indictment?

When President Trump is acquitted by the Senate, the dem's pompous, partisan, pretend inquiry will disappear in a puff of smoke.
Intelligent Americans are wise the dem's games. The democrats have been caught in their slip and fall confidence scam, and their credibility is toast.

You have to admit it though; a lot of our side still considers William Jefferson Blythe, who was actually guilty of crimes (lying under oath and obstruction of justice), impeached. There was no election affecting Clinton, and Pubs still voted to acquit.

I don't agree with him here, but he's correct in a larger sense.
Presidents Johnson and Clinton were impeached, but the significance of the stigma washes away when the act of impeaching the president becomes trivial and partisan.
That's the legacy of this Schiff & Pelosi debacle.
To use Dershowitz's comparison to an indictment, followed by acquittal: It remains forever true that you've been indicted, but it's of no consequence. Democrats intend that "impeached" should sting as it has previously, but they debased it completely, and will end up wearing this albatross around their own neck.

I would agree with Dershowitz if this were a legal trial but unfortunately it is not; it is a political trial. It became a reality because dems are willing to use pure political muscle in defiance of fairness, common sense, and precedent. The House took a very foolish, irrational, political action. The Senate restored the balance. However, the action of impeachment remains an historical fact. The shame of it, however, sits with the dems; also the fact that Nasty Pelousy and her minions are LOSERS.
This is another Trump WIN against dem insanity. The President is constantly battling against the media, dems, activist judges, Deep Staters, NeverTrumoers, etc. The story is not in the act of their challenge but in Trump's inevitable victory. In the process, his opposition is exposed as foolish, petty, vain, powerless, and wrong. President Trump said we would WIN. That implies that there WOULD be "battles" and we would be victorious.
Not tired of WINNING yet. There are more dragons to slay.

It is comforting to know that as the democrats take solace in attaching the label of "impeached" on President Trump, the reality is that he has--time and time again, attached to them the label of "LOSER".
We are not yet tired of WINNING.

Just wait until President Trump has the opportunity to nominate another Supreme Court Justice. Anyone think the Rats and their Rat brained media slugs won't be throwing out the word ''IMPEACHED'' like throwing rice at a wedding? Truth means NOTHING to these scum, only POWER is important to them. May they all rot in hell!

Nancy won't be happy to hear Dershowitz say that! Maybe it will wipe that smirk off her face before she has to sit behind The President at the State of the Union! He should turn around and give her the same Clap she gave him last year!

You can bet that, as campaign season heats up, the demonrats will refer to “Impeached President Donald Trump” in all of their speeches and ads. But what they don’t realize is that every time they say that, the country will be reminded of how badly they failed and the president’s supporters will be even more anxious to get to the polls for some payback.

My take on all this is how stupid the far left Democrat leadership thinks we citizens are. Their impeachment debacle was meant to be for public consumption. They intentionally conducted the impeachment process outside the Constitutional boundaries, to create a show to sway the great unwashed. They justified their actions by saying Impeachment is a Political process, not a Legal one. While it is a political process in the large sense, it is also a Constitutional process in which they totally ignored and slaughtered.
This is a battle that Trump won. Democrats may play it smart and tamp down any further calls for impeachment, but I am betting the farm the Left and their Media allies will continue to smear him and bring up his Impeachment at any opportunity, assuming him guilty and comparing him to greasy mob bosses who escape justice on technicalities.

The impeachment is a stain on the democrats, not President Trump. He did nothing wrong, but the democrats did! It's like, the democrats robbed a bank but got caught, the money returned and they went to prison, but they celebrate because the bank was still robbed!

What is Andrew Johnson's claim to fame? Seems there is always the asterisk and/or notation of his failed impeachment next his name. OJ was never convicted, either.

I welcome this bit of legal good news. This should give the Left even more ample reason to attack Dershowitz for having the spine to support the constitutional rights of an innocent man. Not to mention, future innocent presidents when congress gets their knickers in a twist.

Trump will be acquitted, but I am very afraid of what the radical left will do. I fear horrible things happening. Please, I hope I am wrong.

#19- “...fear horrible things happening...” The Democrats and their powerful wealthy base will become even more desperate as November 3rd approaches and it is an absolute reality that desperate people do desperate things. Prayer is powerful so with heartfelt pleading, please pray for the safety of President Trump, his family, and our country.
