This is all about Democrats attempt to interfere with the 2020 election. Schumer wants to set the rules even though he does not have the authority nor the votes to have his way. Pelosi, Schiff and Nadler rammed Articles of Impeachment through the House because they had the votes. In doing so, they neglected to build a case and used power politics to pass off their responsibilities to the Senate. House Democrats abused their power and authority in a highly partisan fashion. Democrats must be thrown out in the 2020 election so they can be replaced by adults.

Well, the Senate voted down the attempt to get more witnesses and documents. If the Senators want to explain their vote, they can post on their own website (for anyone that cares) and write letters to the editor of their hometown paper! It's all over but the crying now, so Schumer can pass out the crying towels. They can drag it out a little longer, but it won't matter- except that it will alienate even more voters who might still (!!) be on the fence.

We all knew McRombamaney and Lil Suzie were gonna roll with the Rats. No surprise here. Republicans need to make a motion to dismiss the case due to the Unconstitutionality of the articles themselves. To let this go to a vote to convict is to give precedence to the articles themselves thus opening to door for future Impeachments based on a fly in the coffee. #dismissitnow

Chuckie, the Dmes had there chance to convince 4 RINOs out of the 6-10 that were in play. The House fail to make an argument that convinced enough RINOs constiuients to suppore more witnesses. Sure, McConnell made some deals but the real barrometer for RINOsre the voters back home. The Dems eem to forget that voters can lobby ther RINOs even in an impeachment. I let my Senators know how I feltcause they are always close to becoming a RINO. They need to know how we voters feel. Chuckie, all those deplorables that Dems and the Kneepad Media have denigrated for years lobbied their RINOs and in the end, it was enough. Dems fail to convince the nation, not just the Senate. The real failure was politics of the voters and the Dems inability to convince them of an impeachable offense. Now go cry on Nacis shoulder while she clutches her pearls.

Schumer wants the Republicans to explain their votes? Really, Chuckie? Do you really want to go there? That's too easy. Its because the Democrats are a bunch of corrupt lying leftists who under the guise of impeachment are actually trying to commit a coup and remove Trump from office and nullify the 2016 election. Barring that, the Democrats are hoping to continue this sham so they can influence the 2020 election. Also, the Republicans realize none of this is governing, and Congress needs to get back to the business of governing which is what they were elected for.

The dimocrats also want the Iowa caucuses to take place before the removal vote is taken. T^hat could be the reason Nasty Nancy Pelosi held the articles of impeachment for 33 days.

Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., on Friday that he would not act as a tie-breaker if the Senate becomes deadlocked with a 50-50 split during President Trump's impeachment trial. Schumer began by asking Roberts if he was aware that Chief Justice Samuel Chase cast tie-breaking votes during President Andrew Johnson's impeachment trial in the 1860s. "I have a parliamentary inquiry," Schumer said. "Is the chief justice aware that in the impeachment trial of President Johnson, Chief Justice Chase, as presiding officer, cast tie-breaking votes on both March 31 and April 2, 1868?"

For some voters, a single issue does much to spur them to either accept or reject a politician's entire platform. Where a candidate stands on hot-button topics, which can include gun control, climate change, or funding our military, matters. Unsurprisingly, abortion is one of the most divisive subjects carefully weighed by the engaged members of the electorate. The Democratic Party collectively favors abortion as a "woman's right to choose." To them, the issue is one that concerns the personal freedom of a woman. On the other hand, the Republican Party is largely against abortion. For the GOP, abortion is about the most fundamental of all rights: the right to life.
