Mahwah Mayor John Roth was exposed after an anonymous letter signed by “concerned employees of the township of Mahwah” began circulating last week, according to reports.

He was waiting and hoping and just took a nap. I hate it when that happens.

#1, not a Demo.! FTA: “I did go upstairs to bed,” Roth, a Republican, told the site from his office in Mahwah Town Hall.

It's the famous "George Costanza defense" (after he was fired for having sex under his desk with the cleaning lady): "Should I not have done that? I tell you, I gotta plead ignorance on this thing because if anyone had said anything to me at all when I first started here that that sort of thing is frowned upon.”

Article clearly states that he is a Republican. It all depends upon what his intentions were and one must admit that being drunk and naked in a ladies bed does not look good, drunk or sober.

He should resign by the end of the week...unlike Virginia Gov. Northam, who dresses in blackface, wears white sheets, likes to kill babies and take your guns.

Summary: article said he was a Republican, replaced an independent who was recalled for lack of morals, mayor was not naked (had his pants off, I assume all other cloths were on?), mayor was not accused of having sex with anyone or attempting to have sex with anyone, mayor admitted he was drunk. My only takeaway was that he was very drunk and did not get in his car and drive away and kill someone.

Just kind of confirms to me that people working for the government in leadership positions have forgotten the role they serve but, more importantly, it is taxpayer's money being turned over to pay for this position. I think taxpayers are the ones who lose out. . .
