Former Vice President Joe Biden cut into President Trump's character in an Iowa address that was meant to serve as an opening punch before the president headlines a Des Moines rally Thursday night. Biden called out Trump for a laundry list of things: lying, dog-whistling racists, trying to scrap Obamacare - even being mean to climate activist Greta Thunberg. 'Welcome to Donald Trump's world: up is down, lies are the truth, allies are enemies, everything is through the looking glass,' Biden told a crowd gathered in a school gym in a Des Moines suburb. Biden made no mention of impeachment. He previously said his role in the impeachment saga

Every time a Demon-Rat accuses their president, Donald Trump, of being a "racist", sane people everywhere just laugh at how insane Demon-Rats have become by letting their president, Donald Trump, live rent-free in their brains 24/7/365 for the last 3+ years!!!! Isn't it funny that Donald Trump was never a racist until he decided to run as a Republican?!?!?!? I mean, he has more awards from minority groups and women's groups for his hiring of, and advancement of, minorities and women in his businesses. All those pictures posing with smiling civil rights and femi-Nazi leaders just don't lie!!!!!!!!

As it appears more and more likely that the Senate will be moving to exclude witnesses and acquit Donald Trump, the journalistic reaction has become frenzied. Mitt Romney is stoking suspicions that he is eyeing a third White House bid in 2024 after the Utah Republican broke with his party and insisted on witnesses at President Trump’s impeachment trial in the Senate. Along with centrist Susan Collins of Maine, Romney was one of just two Senate Republicans to join the Democrats in a failed vote to subpoena fresh testimony. The 2012 Republican presidential nominee might yet acquit Trump on two articles alleging abuse of power and obstruction of Congress, but consistent criticism of Trump throughout impeachment, a GOP rarity, capped by support for witnesses has some Republicans convinced Romney is jockeying to reclaim the party.

The motion fell short by two votes, ending the case House Impeachment managers have been presenting for the past two weeks. The Senate now moves into the final phase of the trial, which could last a few days longer to allow senators to deliberate and give speeches before holding final votes.
