During CNN’s impeachment coverage on Wednesday, Sen. Bob Casey (D-PA) stated that after the first day of questioning in the Senate’s impeachment trial he thinks it is “probably less likely that the votes will be there for witnesses.”Host Chris Cuomo asked Casey, “Do you believe that today, after this, witnesses are more or less likely?”Casey responded, “I think it’s probably less likely that the votes will be there for witnesses. But I guess I’m being purposefully pessimistic. Because of the way their caucus has operated for a long while. But I hope I’m wrong. Because if they vote yes on witnesses, we’re going to have a different chapter,

Polling must be really bad for Dems. He says he believes 66-75% of Americans want witnesses. Just a day or two ago it was 121% of Americans (counting illegals and dead voters) wanted witnesses.

This clown is one of my senators. There seems to be nothing we can do to get rid of him.

I think the senators got an earful of how their colleagues in the House really feel about them. And it ain't pretty either. Expecting the senate to fix your mess because you are too scared to be adults and do it properly is a fool's game for Schiffty. But he played it anyway. Finding out he is a former Fed prosecutor was kind of a shock. Would like to know how many possibly innocent people he railroaded into prison.

So why did the House do such a lousy job, Senator? Which caucus ran that clown show (I ask with apologies to real clowns who put on shows)? No due process. The accused couldn't face his accusers. Subpoenas that weren't really subpoenas. Give me a friggin' break, Senator!

Because your own asses have found themselves in a sling... (If you'll pardon this more than apt adage).

Senator Bob Casey got to see first hand through the Virginia 2nd Amendment demonstration, that there is still a majority of citizens who believe in the rule of law and following what is laid out in the Constitution regarding their rights and freedoms within that document
The Marxist-Socialist Dems exposed their hand too early, and played it too poorly to convince average Americans of the rightness of their cause. The less radical of the Dems are now scrambling to keep their cushy seats and all the financial benefits being in office brings.

This dimwitted little weasel, and Catholic baby killer, is my senator. Casey shows up about as often as Punxsutawney Phil.
Casey votes against every judicial nominee offered by DJT, because he doesn't like 'the process.' He would vote against Jesus, should the President nominate our Savior, because of 'the process.'
He is the exemplar of ignorance, an ongoing embarrassment to Pennsylvanians, but he will be reelected, mostly because some voters think he is his father, who was resolute in his stand against abortion. (see Casey v. Planned Parenthood, 1991)
Casey offers nothing. Nothing.
(I don't like him.)

One thing is clear: The media wants witnesses for a couple of reasons. One, they think it will hurt President Trump. Another is that it provides fodder for their propaganda machine.

Apologies for sending such a dullard to the Senate.

#2 & #7 - Casey is also my Senator. I believe he is still bumping along on his father's name. His father, unlike this wayward son, was a pro-life Senator who was banned from speaking at one of the DNC conventions because of his pro-life views. Too many voters here probably think the son is like the father - assuming they think at all & don't just vote on name recognition.

The democrats had their turn at bat and blew it. We're at the bottom of the inning. The republcans are up to bat. They will a grand slam. The rotten dems will concoct some outrages stories of why D.J. wasn't removed from office. You best be careful where you (dems) tread. May I add, say Goodbye, Nancy.

If there was such a thing as accountability for voters in Pittsburgh, Harrisburg and philly, this dope would not be a Senator.

Bob Casey (D-umbass PA) This guy is an embarrassment to the entire state and is further proof that political families get worse with each generation. Having one Republican who has turned RINO is bad enough for us. The democrat House allowed no friendly witnesses, the Senate is not in their control but they keep trying.

This whole Schiff show was never about impeachment or witnesses or Russia or the Ukraine. This was a total $$$ raising ploy to appease the dem electorate who collectively went apoplectic when President Trump was elected. That they also wanted to cover their own asses as best they could in the corruption involving Obama, Biden and the Clintons was also a major driver in this media circus.
