On impeachment, Mitt Romney has thrown a spanner in the works. What looked like a speedy scrapping of the Senate impeachment trial of President Trump, premised on Democrats beclowning themselves, is now on hold. Romney says that John Bolton's "bombshell" about a supposed Ukrainian aid-for-investigation quid pro quo is so significant it merits calling Bolton as a witness in the Senate impeachment trial, just as Democrats have been calling for, though not enough to call him in at the House.
According to the Associated Press:
WASHINGTON (AP) — It’s Mitt Romney’s big moment, again.
The 2012 Republican presidential nominee has for a year been a

I hope my Utah relatives are as angry as I am with Romney. He is such a boob and he needs to get some angry messages from the voters. I am sorry I that cannot not vote for him, but I am not moving to Utah.
We are sick to death of this impeachment fraud and want to end Now. He wants to drag it out forever so he can say he wanted everyone to hear witnesses as a matter of principle, I suppose. He is crazy.

Mitt Romney is a CEO. He needs to be in charge. He should never have been allowed to be a member of any group that required him to work with other people or be in a position where he was not the "top dog." He just can't deal with it.
I will never ever support Mitt Romney or a member of his family again.

Democrats put a paper bag full of dog poop, sometimes referred to as Articles of Impeachment, on the Senate's front door. They lit it and rang the doorbell. Pierre Delecto answered the door, and is about to try to stomp it out. Are there no adult Republicans in the room to stop him from making a mess and forcing them to clean up a mess that should be left to the juvenile Dems?

Mittens, this can only end poorly for you. I say this not because I disagree with your need to hear from anyone that can harm Trump and nobody else, but becasue I have seen how you perform under pressure. I watched the debate where your face was scrubbed on a concrete floor by none other than Cathy Crowley. If a brain dead liberal mockingbird like Crowley can kick your behind, just wait till some real genius like Schiff gets a hold of you. I would rather hear the musing of cow droppings than listen to anything you, Mittens, have to offer.

Mittens is a thorny reminder of the lack of choices we have had for so very long. We have been voting for the least bad choice, either way continuing on the death march to bigger and bigger government, less and less Liberty and less of Liberty's conjoined twin, prosperity, simply settling for at best a slower rate of decline. Hell Obama even told us to expect to never return to the good old days and that "Social Justice" was more important than a good economy.
I thought I was voting for the least lousy candidate with Trump but given that the alternative was the spawn of the devil, that isn't saying much. I will go to the polls in November voting for a great President to get another four years.

Mitt is the quintessential silver spoon Republican elitist who has become someone we can never trust again. He and his VP running mate and his National Security friend Bolton can all go to you know where. They are nothing more than back stabbers and sell outs.

The Constitutional threshold for a Presidential impeachment is High Crimes and Misdemeanors. No crime was even alleged in the BS impeachment articles that the wholly-partisan driven Democratic cabal pathetically delivered to the Senate.
End this s4itsh@w right now.

Trump is NOT going to be impeached. He WILL be reelected, by a wide margin. Sometime after, Miit will need something from Trump and the answer will be, "Gee, sorry Pierre, that's not a good idea.". As a matter of fact, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a cold shoulder from other Senators who resent him for wasting their time to stroke his ego.

I thought we were finished when John McCain assumed room temperature and Jeff Flake left then this clown who calls himself Pierre Delecto stepped in to carry on the RINO tradition of back stabbing the Republican party. Pierre Delecto needs to take a long ride in a dog kennel on top of an old station wagon into the sunset.

never forget mittens was a “vulture kapitalist “ . Not an entrepreneur . At Bain they bought faltering companies , came in slashed , burned and fired .. not fixing issues , creating value .. No , they sold the very valuable “bones” , the infrastructure , patents , etc . Nothing was created , built .. then moving on leaving carnage n their wake .. so very .. unlike the master builder , VSGPDJT ., who Created wealth .. not exploited someone else’s endeavors.

"Mitt Romney is political garbage. You put this guy into the Senate, you give the Democrats one more vote when they really need it. If that vote is to remove President Trump from office, Romney will do what he always does -- work out what´s best for Mitt Romney and the establishment he so slavishly serves."

Almost two years ago to the day, stories that Romney was un-retiring hit this site, and many of us started hitting the alarm bells. In my post above I was too optimistic. Romney isn't political garbage; he's toxic waste. He poisons everything he touches, and allowing his sycophantic apologists to recycle him one last time may turn out to be fatal to things that matter.

His importance is in his own mind, and to MY mind, that makes him dangerous to this nation. For he will willingly sacrifice us to feed his own importance. Romney has no core principles whatsoever, and is willing to do ANYthing to advance himself for personal gain. It must pain him greatly that a lifelong politician like himself is a failed candidate, while an absolute neophyte like Trump not only won the presidency first try, he won the hearts and support of the nation, and the world.
Sucks to be Romney, and I have no sympathy for the fake Churchian that he is. His Bain Capital company needs to be exposed for the corrupt money machine for himself that it was and still is if it is still operating.

The GOPe stuck us with both John McCain and Mitt Romney and forced a choice to vote for a stupid RINO, an illegal immigrant Kenyan or not vote at all. Once Donald Trump finishes his second term I may never vote again. He will NOT be thrown out of the Oval Office over this democrat scam if we all have to march on Washington.

As many of us here recall, THIS heap of steaming "ordure" is what the "wiser heads" of the RNC forced upon us as the best candidate for President just a few years ago. Proving that the most wild eyed conspiracy theories of the Uni-Party were, and remain, quite true. As if the damage of the Bushes, Dole, McVain, Ryan, etc.. hadn't proven it
Well, to Perdition with the entrenched GOP. New Party!

Mitt is still harboring dreams of becoming the '20 UNIPARTY candidate for President. Even in defeat he will be lauded as noble, moderate, a man of great integrity...a statesman. But it won't happen unless PDT's numbers are dropped into the 30s. That's what his is all about. And don't think Mitch isn't dithering to buy time. Removal of Trump is outside the realm. Smearing him is another matter...just need to find the issue and the "honest man" to bring it forward.
John Bolton has many "conservative" fans, and his testimony is hoped to create cognitive dissonance, doubt, and maybe even some reconsideration. After placing all sorts of faith in the wisdom and patriotism of John Bolton, what will these fans do if he fans the flames of "pro quid pro"? Dismiss Bolton? Or, dump Trump? There's no straddling here.
