Despite ongoing demands for new witness testimony during President Trump's impeachment trial, testimony House managers refused to compel before transmitting articles to the upper chamber earlier this month, Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Graham is confident the entire process will be over by Friday.
"I'm increasingly optimistic this ends Friday. I think the question is whether we should have additional testimony from witnesses that the House refused to call. Lets assume for a moment that John Bolton would say what the New York Times said he would say, 'The President told me to put a freeze on the aid because I want to look at the Bidens.' I'm paraphrasing.

Yet, there is a video clip (in 2012/2013) of Joe Biden bragging that a Ukrainian prosecutor was fired over this matter? I will say to all of you naysayers: is this how Ukraine should be handled? I think it is disgusting that influential people from the United States (the Vice President at the time) can yield so much power over a country like that to get a prosecutor fired from his position. Don't you get that Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins, or Mitt Romney? This impeachment sham needs to end.

Imagine you are Bolton for a moment. Someone said something was in your book that causes sales to skyrocket. If that was not in your book you are not the one who said it was, just shut the hell up, sit back and let the orders flow in. If it is in your book there is no point in hiding from it why not confirm it and sell more books?
The entire situation has layers of nothingness. If Trump said what they(NYT & Leaker) say Bolton said he said (breathe here) it is at worst a thought that was never acted out. Not even a thought crime because had it been acted upon, it still wouldn't be a crime. There is abundant evidence that Biden's committed crimes and to not investigate is wrong. Furthermore to hand aid to a corrupt government violates the law.
The absurdity of this entire circus is simply astounding. If we can impeach a President because someone said someone said he thought about something we are flat out done as a nation. That is precisely what is happening.

Dear Democrats,
In the Immortal Words of Admiral Ackbar, "It's a trap!"
Go ahead and demand witnesses. Prove to us how
stupid you are.

The Dems want witnesses because they didn't do their job. Mis Lindsey wants witnesses because he didn't do HIS job.

If they're going to have witnesses, I like Molly Hemingway's suggestion. House Democrats chose 18 witnesses and allowed Republicans none. Now it's the Senate Republicans turn.

I agree that this will end Friday. The Democrat Senators running for president want this over with and the Republicans want it over with before the State of the Union. The Dems don't want the Bidens and whistle blower called. The outcome of this is known and each side wants to get this over with.

Worse than murder a 'thought crime' can get you convicted and sentenced. To use the old adage Bolton will testify "somebody did something". CONVICT!

Yet another who studiously ignores public opinion. Seriously, we need to make it so painfully obvious to these people that we are sick to death of their hatred of us. If we cannot clean this rot out with Trump, then we deserve what is coming if we do not. But then what can we expect from McCain's little buddy, and democrat at heart? He and McCain only switched party registration to republican to ride Reagan's coattails into the senate. They have stayed democrat at heart ever since.

What if, Donald Trump wants witnesses? What if, Donald Trump wants to testify, under oath? What if, this is just a show and the deep state are the ones being played?

If Lindsey wanted witnesses, he should have put them in front of his Senate Committee years ago. He talks big,and may convince many that he is a Conservative, but when it's time to act, good luck finding him. I for one, am tired of being jerked around by this pantywaist.

Lindsey like many southern politicians of the past loves to "orate" and sound "important" and smart. Trey Gowdy comes to mind and also Foghorn Leghorn.

Most presidents talk occasionally about doing things they later abandon after greater thought. After the Chinese crossed the Yalu River, Harry Truman was so angry he told his aides he wanted to bomb them back to the stone age. Bolton's revelation is a nothing burger.
