Ossoff: We Need to Beat Trump
Backers So Badly They Can’t
Show Their Faces in Public

Georgia Senate candidate Jon Ossoff (D.) told a crowd earlier this month that Democrats needed to defeat President Donald Trump's backers so badly that they wouldn't be able to show their faces in public. "We need to send a message this year," Ossoff said. "We need to send a message that if you indulge this kind of politics, you're not just going to get beat. You're going to get beaten so bad you can never run or show your face again in public, because we have had enough, absolutely enough of what we are getting from Donald Trump and his fellow travelers right now."

Comments:

What a disagreeable little toad Osoff is. He knows nothing outside his own fevered imagination, especially nothing about us. We're better citizens than he ever will be.

#1, we beat Ossoff here in Georgia. We also elected a conservative governor and Lt.Governor and Republicans control the statehouse. My county went 74% for Trump and Trump took Georgia in spite of massive dollars spent to turn Georgia blue by the Dems. The only problem we have is outsiders from blue areas moving here and trying to turn us into the s***holes they fled from.

I don't care what anyone else thinks about him. My 403b earned interest at 19% in 2019. I'm sick and my out-of-pocket medical expenses are over $1,000 a month and will continue to go up. I need that money to supplement my meager retirement earnings (which means I actually worked for over 45 years). I like how Trump is "winning" for me. That doesn't mean I don't hold him to any standards, but he is doing his job every single day. He is working harder than any president ever, and he doesn't skip a beat. The only reason he is being attacked is that he doesn't follow the rules of the "swamp". I pray for him and his family.

ZEPHYRHILLS — The Rottweilers’ barking woke Brena Kramer in the darkest part of the January morning, but it was when they fell silent that she got worried. They were chasing something. She stepped onto the big screened porch and looked toward the barn. A security lamp gave off the only light. Across the yard, she heard an unusual sound — one of the horses shuffling anxiously in his stall. Five years earlier, Kramer had turned this property, set back off a railroad access drive, into her dream: a horse rehabilitation center. She took horses nobody else would, ones that needed up to a year of treatment. It was nonstop work,

The immediate question facing the Democratic Party is what to do now the Russian collusion investigation and the impeachment of Donald Trump both failed. Should they enter into another high stakes confrontation or should they lower the stakes? Each defeat, however subjectively glorious, exacts a price. A sufficiently long losing streak can bankrupt any party no matter how much political capital they start have. The Democrat centrist wing is already broke according to a New York Times op-ed by Elizabeth Breunig. "The center cannot hold. Bernie Sanders’s strong showing in Iowa is a turning point in the battle between the party’s establishment and left wing."

TAMPA — A Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputy shot and killed a dog along the Gasparilla Parade route Saturday evening after it attacked a patrol horse, authorities said. Deputies called for backup outside the high-rise 345 Bayshore Condominiums at about 6:30 p.m., shortly after the Parade of Pirates wound past the spot near the exit ramp for Tampa General Hospital. Large crowds were still gathered along the Bayshore Boulevard route at the time of the attack and watched as the dog, believed to be a pit bull, charged at a team of horses carrying mounted patrol deputies from both the Sheriff’s Office and the Tampa Police Department. The most important thing that happened during President Trump’s post-impeachment rant at the White House didn’t happen at the lectern.
