Billy Madison, in Adam Sandler’s eponymous movie, is a rich kid with an utterly empty mind and childlike logic who repeats all 12 grades of primary school over 24 weeks. Because it’s a Hollywood movie, Billy excels, of course, and eventually is able to take over his father’s Fortune 500 hotel chain. In the real world, David Hogg is playing the Billy Madison role and it’s clear that his exposure to Harvard, rather than making him smarter in a Billy Madison-esque way, is actually making him dumber. Much dumber.
How else can one account for the tweet Hogg, a Harvard freshman, shared with the world this weekend?

Ms. Widburg, I agree that Hogg with his tweet continues to prove his stupidity but please stop copying tweets as if you'd actually written something.

One of the most eye-opening books I have ever read was This Nonviolent Stuff Will Get You Killed by Charles Cobb. Here's the blurb from Amazon:
Visiting Martin Luther King Jr. during the Montgomery, Alabama, bus boycott, journalist William Worthy almost sat on a loaded pistol. "Just for self-defense," King assured him. It was not the only weapon King kept for such a purpose; one of his advisors remembered the reverend’s Montgomery, Alabama, home as "an arsenal." Like King, many ostensibly "nonviolent" civil rights activists embraced their constitutional right to self-protection—yet this crucial dimension of the Afro-American freedom struggle has been long ignored by history. In This Nonviolent Stuff’ll Get You Killed, Charles E. Cobb Jr. recovers this history, describing the vital role that armed self-defense has played in the survival and liberation of black communities. Drawing on his experiences in the civil rights movement and giving voice to its participants, Cobb lays bare the paradoxical relationship between the nonviolent civil rights struggle and the long history and importance of African Americans taking up arms to defend themselves against white supremacist violence.
Hogg knows nothing. Absolutely nothing.

Read down to the Tweet by Styxhexenhammer666 who nails it.
Gun control in the US started as the disarmament of freed slaves by the former shareholding class in pointy hats. That is who Davie Madison Hogg has thrown in with. Of course now gun control has transitioned to the disarmament of the constitutional class who desire to restore and keep the republic. And the useful idiot class will swallow this drivel hook line and sinker because the words that spew out of the celebrity woke community are the gospel. The younger the prophet, the more ardent the worship.

Apparently the stupidity he brought to Harvard is being increased daily by the corrupt and inane faculty of that once revered institution. His indoctrination into the Michael Moore School of American History is progressing well.

It is beyond me why the media still pretends to care about what this moron thinks. They can find plenty of articulate morons to spout the gun control bs. Why use this idiot?

I wish to respectfully disagree with the author of this article, Ms. Andrea Widburg.
The real Billy Madison in today's times is actually Hunter Biden. A ne'er do well who, thanks to the intercession of his father the Vice-President, was accepted into the U.S. Navy as an Ensign (even though he was over the age limit, but hey, Daddy is the V.P.) and then discharged 9 months later because evidence of cocaine abuse appeared in his Navy physicals!
David Hogg is just another sock-puppet, like Greta Thunberg, being exploited because of their fringe association with their cause celebre. David will grow up to be a fine beta cuck one day, I'm sure, because, you know, Haaaarvaahd. And btw, someone should get Greta a cheeseburger, she looks malnourished.

I wonder if David (media) Hogg is going to end up like Hillary Clinton in that when you already have a headache and a tack in your shoe, comes along to suck the rest of the oxygen out of any room.

The NRA, founded after the Civil War, supported the right of former slaves to own guns.
David Hogg, I suspect, was fed this nonsense in a History course.
History courses used to be a search for the truth. That may no longer be true. And I am especially offended when historians are surveyed to rate the current president, comparing him to past presidents.
Historians should have one answer - call me in 50 years, and I'll answer your question.

I can not wait until this ignorant, insufferable little twit walks out of Harvard with his worthless charity degree and lands a job on CNN in front of a microphone.
As I recall from the real history that was once taught, Blacks loved the guns that we used to free them in the Civil War, the Mexicans loved the guns they used to massacre the people at the Alamo and as for the Indigenous peoples, they could not wait to throw down their bows and lances and buy rifles from any white men who could supply them.

#14 After 3 days on a boat with Greta he'd probably shoot her with a flare pistol. Or vice-versa.

Gun Control started to keep guns out of the hands of newly freed slaves, and the NRA was formed around the same time to combat these laws.
