We have seen this show before, it’s all designed to pressure a small number of weak Republican Senators to allow Democrats to turn the Senate into a circus in which the process becomes the punishment.t has been clear for weeks that the Democrats were seeking to ‘Kavanaugh’ the Senate impeachment trial — to roll out with media help a well-timed series of supposed bombshell accusations whose main purpose was to create a media hysteria to pressure Republican Senators to extend the process. The process for the nominee, or in the impeachment framework the president, becomes the punishment and the Democrat campaign strategy.

What some call devious "Democrat tactics" others would call proof of criminal cover-ups of Democrat crimes... the unforgivable behavior of their MSM arm being Exhibit A.

To the Democrats: I want you to know, in my opinion, that the Biden family should be investigated regardless if Joe Biden is running for President of the USA or not. I firmly believe that Donald Trump's attitude is the correct one. It is horrible how Ukraine is being treated as a country and the video that was floating around with Biden boasting in 2012/13 shows disrespect for Ukraine. I also want you to know that this "testimony" from John Bolton is not believable to me. Anyone who is trying to sell a book is suspect. I am very skeptical, also, because he was let go. If there is even a faint smell of revenge, I will question John Bolton's motive. Every day I am reminded of the infantile behavior from the Democrats and Never Trumpers. You do not disappoint!

A full investigation of the Vindmann brothers is in order. I am willing to bet that the leak of the book came from the lawyer brother at the NSC. Trump needs to fire everyone at the NSC today and put the good people back in place tomorrow,

This is irrelevant hearsay on Bolton’s part but the Democrats had to dig up something somewhere to counter the devastating testimony from Trump’s team on Saturday. Regardless of what Trump may or may not have said to Bolton no aid was ever held up. The whole premise is false on the facts. Are they now going to accuse Trump of thought crimes?

#9, they‘ve been doing that since Day One. The biggest thought crime lie is that Trump is a racist. Not one of his actions or words has ever been racist but the left is certain that his thoughts are. Because their’s are.

Oh No! Another Bombshell! Another poster earlier made the comparison with Bullwinkle the Moose attempting to pull a rabbit out of a hat. This impeachment effort will fail, but will rech it's real goal of using the Deep State and it's minions to effect the outcome of an election. Our best bet is that they continue these attacks until all of their credibility has been spent. In that regard, at least what the polls are telling us, the finish line is near.

Bolton doesn't accuse him of criminal activity. He doesn't accuse him of tying aid to investigations. He accused him of talking about such activity. Talking about it. Rush said that he often says he doesn't want to go to the dentist. But he goes. Trump gave the aid without the investigations. I bet there were lots of conversations about lots of options about lots of issues. Actions are what are the issue, not discussions.

I listened to the defense yesterday and there was much rhetoric recounting the Biden's activities in the Ukraine. I tell myself since the President's phone call last year that Joe Biden is not President Trump's 'political opponent' and still isn't. Joe Biden has to win his party's nomination or he's not a 'political opponent'. President Trump was not seeking dirt on Joe Biden but dirt came to Joe Biden and his cocaine snorting son, Hunter. President Trump was not going to send aid, he eventually did, to what still might be a deeply corrupt government that some democrats were exploiting and using as an ATM machine. All President Trump wanted was assurance that the Ukraine was out of the grip of some criminals like Hunter Biden and his father. Joe Biden might rue the day he bragged about getting the Ukraine investigator fired and Hunter put in place with the gas company.

#14, it doesn't matter if Joe Biden was, is, or ever will be a candidate, if there was credible evidence that he was involved in illegal kickbacks from the Ukrainians the President had every right (and duty) to request an investigation. Candidacy does not confer immunity from investigation where illegal activity is involved. This whole argument concocted by the Democrats is absurd. Why are the Republicans such wimps in dealing with it?

House Democrats impeached President Trump for putting his own political fortunes ahead of the national interest in dealing with Ukraine. But it’s Joe Biden who should be on the hot seat for that. Trump is criticized for a July 25 phone call, when he asked the president of Ukraine for help investigating what Biden did as vice president to get a prosecutor there fired. At the time, Biden’s son Hunter was on the payroll of a corrupt Ukrainian energy company, Burisma, which was targeted by authorities. Democrats claim it was wrong to ask for the investigation; Trump’s defense lawyers say there was every reason

On Monday, the Supreme Court allowed the Trump administration's public charge rule to go into effect, striking down a nationwide injunction from a New York judge. The rule allows the government to deny green cards to immigrants who receive public assistance and are therefore considered a "public charge." In addition to the 5-4 decision allowing the rule to go into effect, Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch issued a concurring opinion rebuking activist judges and their rush to apply "nationwide injunctions" against Trump administration policies. "Today the Court (rightly) grants a stay, allowing the government to pursue (for now) its policy everywhere save Illinois.

Even a stopped clock is right twice a day. Former Vice President Joe Biden never measures up to that standard. In 2014, Bob Gates, who served as President Obama’s first secretary of defense, said that Biden had been wrong on almost every foreign policy and national security issue for 40 years. Biden’s record hasn’t improved since then. Biden brags that Obama chose him for vice president because Obama didn’t have the foreign policy expertise that Biden had. The expertise Biden brags about includes voting against the 1991 Gulf War when we threw Saddam Hussein’s forces out of Kuwait and voting in favor of the 2003 Iraq invasion.

The Democrats are clearly frustrated by their failure to convince congressional Republicans that President Trump has committed any act approaching an impeachable offense. This was made plain when House managers Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) resorted to the bizarre and self-defeating tactic of insulting the integrity of the very Senators who will ultimately decide the President’s fate. The Democrats obviously believed their relentless attacks on all things Trump, combined with impeachment, would eventually cause Republicans to abandon him just as they did President Nixon in 1974. Instead, their three-year smear campaign has only strengthened the President’s support among Republicans in both houses of Congress. Why?

Joe Biden doesn’t sound very moderate when he says there is “no room for compromise” on “transgender equality.” It is the “civil rights issue of our time,” he tweeted last week, elevating it above women’s equality, racial equality, and even climate “justice,” an issue he once told us was an “existential threat.” The tweet was rather baffling, other than as an exercise in identity pandering. Maybe Biden thought he could win over a segment of the 0.3 percent transgender voters who are irate that Bernie Sanders accepted an endorsement from libertarian podcaster and pronoun purist Joe Rogan.
