A woman accused of killing her wife in 2017 was digging a grave when police arrived at their home, a prosecutor said Thursday. Laura Bluestein appeared before Judge Terrence Cook and jurors in Mount Holly for opening statements in her trial on counts of murder, tampering with evidence and a weapons charge. Bluestein is accused of killing her wife, Felicia Dormans, at their Mount Holly home Aug. 6, 2017. Prosecutors say it was intentional, while attorney Robin Lord contended it was accidental. Before a courtroom packed with family and staff from the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office, Assistant Prosecutor Jeremy Lackey described a Mount Holly

Accidentally killed her by shooting her 9 times and hitting her in the head repeatedly with a hammer and then accidentally trying to bury her in the vegetable garden. Great defense. All because she didn’t like the soup the killer made for dinner and drank the last of the wine.

Although we tend to be afraid of crazy people, most mental illness is not dangerous to others. This one is.
Almost all domestic violence is in "couples" who are living together as they are married, but are not.

Not disabling ad blocker. If she was killed in 2017, was she digging the grave in 2017 or just got around to it now?

A billion years ago, I was a cop.
Little secret seemingly only beat cops know: lesbian couples are greatly over-represented in domestic violence cases. GREATLY.

Laura Bluestein didn't have a wife, regardless of what the Supreme Court said.

I know what you mean, OP. But the headline does not make sense... one's rational mind does not process the inanity. What happens is recognition of the absurd. We should never become comfortable with allowing the absurd to become acceptable reality.
When the leftwing mob petty-tyrants first demanded "marriage" they just wanted legal rights in estates and hospital visitation, civil unions was what they wanted. But they were lying, of course. It's not the designation "marriage" but the emptying (i.e. destruction) of all meaning of marriage itself, which is the ultimate goal, for Marxist atheists aim is to tear down "bourgeois" culture, in their terminology, eradicating Christian mores and ethics in particular, getting rid of God's Law in general.

If the left actually cared about the people who are non-heterosexual (the Left doesn't care about gay people any more than the Left cares about Black Americans or Hispanics) they wouldn't fight tooth and nail against the collection of data on resulting mental health problems, the divorce rate, the suicide rate, criminal involvement, and so on. Honestly, if the Left champions something, it is likely harmful to the target audience. Beyond the damage to the people involved, it is also frustrating to watch the Leftists parading around insisting that they are the "good people", the ones who "care" about humanity.

I find it interesting that defense attorneys love those body cameras - except when they don't.
Separate from that, just how full of hate must someone be, to shoot someone in the face? Even the mafia doesn't do that.

Horrible crime by a delusional woman in a live-in relationship with a woman she eventually killed. Domestic violence, suicide, and substance abuse is extremely high in SS relationships compared to traditional relationships. SS people defy both natural law and moral law. It's no wonder there's murder and mayhem in these situations.

Fake news! there's no such thing as a woman being married to a wife. A woman can only be married to a man. Get real, people!

There was a time in my life when homosexuality was widely considered to be a form of mental illness. We're much more enlightened now.

Had to read the headline twice before it made sense; life in "interesting times." Domestic violence is far more common in snazzy lesbian relationships than in boring, outmoded traditional relationships, and yet the narrative states that men are the abusive ones. Meanwhile, this gal will be in real trouble if she used hollow-point ammo; that's super-duper illegal in NJ.
