Prince Charles calls for green TAXES
as he meets Greta Thunberg in Davos
and pitches radical new world economy
to tackle climate change—a day after
Donald Trump rejected 'prophets of doom'

Original Article

Prince Charles demanded global green taxes as part of a radical push to tackle climate change in a seminal speech at Davos today. The Prince of Wales met Greta Thunberg at the Word Economic Forum after flying in to Switzerland on a private jet—but did not hold talks with Donald Trump. Charles even sounded like the 17-year-old Swedish activist as he asked VIPs: 'Do we want to go down in history as the people who didn't do anything to bring the world back from the brink? The only limit is our willingness to act and the time to act is now'.

Comments:

When in a hole, keep digging. Reading the tea leaves, maybe the Brits will end the monarchy and go with a republic after Queen Elizabeth passes on. The Markles and Prince Pedo laid the groundwork already; sell everything off and use that to fund Climate Change. Jetset Charles couldn't possibly object to that.

While William and Kate are a little bit on the nutsy lie-beral side on some issues, they come off as sane and normal compared to Charles!!! He long ago drank the lie-beral Kool-Ade and says and does stupid things on a regular basis. The Queen needs to name William as the new King when she retires before Charles destroys the monarchy and William and Kate never get a chance!!!!!

I really don't mind a tax if it goes to pay for changing things that really affect us. Since the science is settled, and we know how weather works and what affects it, it should be easy to use tax dollars to stop droughts, hurricanes, tornados, torrential rains, too much sun, not enough sun and so many other things. After all, the science is settled, we know how to affect weather and we should for the women and children.

I am not sure why people think Charles is so unusual. The Queen HERSELF mentions how proud she is that the younger Royals are tackling the highly important issue of climate control. Yoo-hoo - Charles AND good old William who also champions and supports all the lgbtq whatever leaders are both on the same side. You will never catch either man extolling the obvious virtues of nor supporting Israel either. Without a strong Christian revival, its onward spreading islamization. London is pretty much lost and the declared plan is to make it the Islamic capitol of Europe. The family is fighting to remain relevant probably harder than we have ever seen. As everyone against islamization has been legally silenced, the elephant in the room continues to destroy England.

You'd think Prince Charles would be happy at 72 years of age, to step aside in favor of the next generation and William was schooled in the process. Along with all the honors that attend Prince Charles, the Duke of Wales (the coronet, a ring, a rod, a sword, a girdle, and a mantle) he once wished for one thing more (to be the personal feminine product of his beloved Camilla.) As Ben Johnson in 1616 wrote to celebrate then Duke of Wales, This Charles should just enjoy his ''Pleasure Reconciled to Virtue.''

The Royal Family is very much like a pride of lions in a zoo, They may inhabit a very gilded cage, but a cage it is nonetheless. Under constant scrutiny, they exist as exhibits in a virtual museum, reminding us of the role they played in their distant past as monarchs but today in name only. And Prince Charles, old fool that he is, hasn't a clue about the environment or the forces at work in this radical climate movement, being that he lives in a bubble.

God knows they're always petitioning HR to do that to every building they work in...even though every single one of them already has one of those small space heaters under their desks and cranked up to max temp. But hey, I guess some of them do indeed need their small spaces heated up.

Did some research... If you put the water and air in spheres, The water sphere measures 1390 kilometres across and has a volume of 1.4 billion cubic kilometres. This includes all the water in the oceans, seas, ice caps, lakes and rivers as well as ground water, and that in the atmosphere. The air sphere measures 1999 kilometres across ...to even think we, since inception of the modern industrial age (but then you don't know about the cooking/camp fires of the aborigines), could put enough pollutants into these spheres to hurt them, is utter liberal nonsense....there is no man made global warming, i.e. wealth re-distribution scheme.....it's Mother Nature snowflakes....get over it....

More than 30% of inmates in Canadian prisons are Indigenous—even though aboriginal people make up just 5% of the country’s population, according to new figures released by a federal watchdog. In a scathing report published on Tuesday, the correctional investigator of Canada, Dr Ivan Zinger, described Indigenous overrepresentation in the country’s jails and prisons as “nothing short of a national travesty”. The figure is highest in the prairie provinces of Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta, where Indigenous people make up 54% of the prison population.(Snip) Indigenous inmates also serve more of their sentence before being granted parole–and reoffend at much higher levels than non-indigenous inmates.

The University of Michigan has placed its provost on leave after allegations of sexual misconduct were made against him, the school has announced. Martin A. Philbert, who earns $570,340 a year, was placed on administrative leave on Tuesday, according to a letter from the university. Several allegations were made against the 57-year-old last Thursday and Friday, triggering an internal investigation of sexual misconduct by Philbert, says University President Mark S. Schlissel. Washington, DC, law firm WilmerHale, was then hired to lead the probe since Philbert, who is the school's executive vice president of academic affairs, is normally charged with conducting such investigations

Some animal lovers and nervous fliers may squawk but the US government wants a definitive “neigh” to the question of passengers bringing rabbits, turtles, birds, miniature horses and other unusual emotional support animals on planes in future, especially free of charge. Even cats could be running out of lives to while away under passengers’ seats at 30,000 feet. The US Department of Transportation on Wednesday proposed that only specially trained dogs qualify as service animals, which must be allowed in a passenger plane cabin at no charge. Airlines may be able to let passengers bring other animals on board, but hefty fees would apply.

NEW YORK — Billionaire and presidential candidate Tom Steyer reiterated his support Wednesday for reparations for African-Americans suffering from the legacy of slavery. “We would retell the story over the last 401 years so everybody understands not just the legalized, institutionalized injustice in racism — which is definitely a huge part of this story — but also the contribution of the African-American community,” Steyer said in an interview with Yahoo News’ “Hot Mic With Brittany Shepherd.” “I don’t think we can be the country that we want to be until we acknowledge the past and move to accept the mistakes

Fellow Python star Sir Michael Palin described Jones as "one of the funniest writer-performers of his generation". In a tweet, John Cleese said he was "a man of so many talents and such endless enthusiasm".

A Hispanic police captain in Miami has been suspended for claiming he was a “black male” during a city commission meeting, department officials said. Javier Ortiz was “relieved of duty with pay” on Wednesday pending an investigation, a police department spokesman confirmed to The Post. Ortiz, who previously oversaw the department’s SWAT operations, is expected to be off the force indefinitely, Deputy Police Chief Ronald Papier told the Miami Herald. Papier refused to indicate why Ortiz is being investigated, but the development follows Ortiz’s comments on Friday at a city commission meeting during which he claimed he was black instead of Hispanic while addressing allegations

While attending a “community conversation” in Grimes, Iowa, this past Monday, a man approached Elizabeth Warren to ask her a question about her student loan plan (snip) students blithely take on debt despite getting majors in areas that will never result in jobs that enable them to pay off that debt. That is, she intends to reward them – or their families – for being completely irresponsible. And it is that reward for irresponsibility that saw an irritated man approach Elizabeth Warren to complain about her proposal – and to get from her, in return, her dismissal of his concerns, a laugh, and a smirk.
