Prince Harry has spoken of his 'great sadness that it has come to this' as he breaks his silence this evening over Megxit and laments it was not possible to find the new life he wanted. The Duke of Sussex was at a formal private dinner at the Ivy, in Chelsea, for vulnerable children's charity Sentebale, which founded in 2006, when he made the comments. In an emotional speech, the 35-year-old said that the UK is a place that he loves and that will 'never change' but that he had 'no other option' than to quit senior royal duties. Harry also paid a stirring tribute to his grandmother, calling her his 'commander-in- chief'

Comments:

Meghan left him no other choice.

I am reminded of something. I don’t recall where I heard it. “The one who loves the least holds the power”… And Yogi Berra said “It’s not over till it’s over”… Doria Ragland has used her pass-for-white daughter to gain access to money and power. Doria would be smart to hang on to her yoga practice.

#7, you beat me to it. It's a crude locker room term, but it's very accurate here. Harry is so smitten with Meghan that he has completely lost his bearings. Poor little fool. She's going to have him following her like a lovesick puppydog, only to dump him after a few years, taking a royal-sized divorce settlement with her. Too bad. He's a good guy who had a great future. This will not end well for him.

Once Harry moves with Megan and their baby to California, which will happen sooner or later, Harry will find himself in a community property State married to a divorced woman who comes from a family where divorce appears to be common. If Megan were to then file for divorce there, Harry’s and Meghan’s finances and property would be split right down the middle, putting Harry’s supposed 40 million pound fortune at serious risk of being split in half. Besides that Harry would have to pay Meghan huge amounts of child support for almost the next twenty years. As long as the vast majority of Harry’s fortune remains in English banks a California court order may not be able to get at it, but if Meghan suckers Harry into moving that money to The USA look out!

I think Harry thought he could dictate terms to the family. He found out it doesn't work that way. The Queen told him how things will be. Now he is on the outside looking in. Poor fool. I think it's very amusing that they have to pay back $3 million and $468,000 a year to rent a place they are, according to the Meghan, never going back to again. That's a quick way to go broke. I suspect we will hear a quiet announcement in a year or so that they are no longer "renting" Frogmore.

Just go away this is getting sickening. Harry continues to blame the media for his Mother's death. Well his Dad is to blame too. After all he was cheating & caused the divorce. If they had stayed together the accident would not have happened. His wife's trip to LA gave her a glimpse of her old Hollywood life & her friend Michelle encouraged her. Some day he will see it was not everybody who caused his problems , it was his wife who pulled him away from his title, country & family. When you stop blaming everyone else for your problems you know you are an adult. I have a feeling ole Harry will be sorry he did not have a prenup. I give it one more year & she's gone.

To make a lot of money in North America, also known in this case as Hollywood, they needed to leave that Royal Family with their Royal Titles as those titles would be the marquee for their business and entertainment industry success in Hollywood. Those titles set the couple apart from all the commoners in Hollywood. Tonight they have those titles and will be known as, Harry, Duke of Sussex and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex. They also retain their HRH or His or her Royal Highness royal ranks, but according to the Queen can't themselves use them. But that does not mean that others who will be using Harry and Meghan as their tools to make a lot of money in business and in the entertainment industry in Hollywood won't use them to give their clients, and themselves, a media and public relations leg up as they go forward. When that occurs the Queen will have absolutely no authority to anything about that, as Meghan will be in Hollywood that is loaded with Queens of all sorts, and Harry will be wherever Meghan tells him to be. That is if he wants to stay married rather they get raked over the coals in California community property divorce proceedings where he could end up handing Meghan half his fortune and paying her huge amounts of child support for almost the next two decades. When you get to the bottom line, the smart bet is that Meghan successfully was able to put both psychological and physical hummers on Harry that all the girls in merry old England could not match.

Great sadness? They called his country and family racist and walked away with everything they wanted. Charles is still funding their lifestyle, they still have titles (queen said was they won't use HRH, she didn't actually strip them of the title), the people still pay for their unnecessary security, they're free to share their wokeness with their followers and on top of it all, they have no formal duties for the RF.

The Wall Street Journal ran a piece, "How Trump Has Kept Solid GOP Support Throughout Impeachment." The story made it seem like President Donald John Trump has twisted arms and bribed Republicans to get them to toe the line. His innocence -- indeed, no crime is cited in the articles of impeachment -- does not seem to come into play in the minds of the people now at the helm of what was once America's finest newspaper.
