Top Democratic senator warns FBI

A top Democratic senator discouraged the Justice Department and FBI from complying with a Republican demand for information about a former Democratic National Committee contractor. Oregon Sen. Ron Wyden warned that complying with the records request related to Alexandra Chalupa, who is alleged to have sought dirt from Ukraine about then-candidate Donald Trump during the 2016 election, would have dangerous consequences. Chalupa is a private citizen who claims she was the target of a state-sponsored cyberattack. “The Senators’ request will have a chilling effect on the victims of nation state cyberattacks, and would discourage them from seeking law enforcement assistance, thereby jeopardizing our national security,

Comments:

“Top…senator”? Crazy Wyden? What a lame reason for trying to keep Chalupa under wraps. Her work with rumorblower Eric Ciaramella is already fairly well-known. She was a sneak who insinuated herself into the White House to do dirt against PDJT.

You mean Senator Ron Wyden who actually lives in NYC with his heiress wife and their kids? The Senator who hasn't lived in Oregon in at least a decade because his wife doesn't want to leave her beloved NYC? That Senator? Wyden has been a complete and hateful hack for a long time and he needs to be booted out. Chulupa conspired with high level Ukrainian officials to dig up dirt on Trump associates that might have past ties to Russian oligarchs. The main target was Trump's campaign manager, Paul Manafort. Anti-Russian Ukrainian politicians that were strong Clinton supporters forged a document called the "Black Ledger" that was supposedly a record of bribes to Manafort from the pro-Russian Party of the Regions that he had signed for (as ridiculous as that sounds). The problem with this document is that it is the only surviving record from a fire that burned down the offices of the POR and is in pristine condition with no burns or smoke smell. Other Ukrainians targeted by the forgery have examined their own signatures and confirmed it is a fraud. Nevertheless, it was all Chulupa needed to pass to the FBI as part of the Russia hoax campaign to get Trump. Since this would not be made public she also leaked it to Michael Issakoff of Yahoo news whose article created a huge media blitz and lead to Manafort's resignation from Trump's campaign. This is a clear case of using foreign intelligence to illegally influence the 2016 election and its only the tip of the iceberg. No wonder the Democrats want to maintain the coverup by obstructing justice and preventing the evidence from being investigated.

The reports and photographs showing an apparent massacre in Bucha, Ukraine, are truly terrible.(snip)Of course, pictures do not always tell the whole story. For example, to determine whether a war crime took place we must know who did the killing, why, and how.(snip)If civilians were shot and purposefully killed in Bucha, it undoubtedly would be a war crime and a terrible thing. But there are credible reasons to believe the so-called Bucha Massacre was not the doing of the Russian Forces, but rather of the Ukrainians—either local militia or SBU or some combination of thereof—as part of brutal reprisals against “saboteurs” and “Russian collaborators.”
