Pelosi on Impeachment Process: It’s Not a
Question of “Proof” It’s About “Allegations”

Original Article

Posted By: ladydawgfan, 1/17/2020 2:37:57 PM

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) on Thursday responded to reporters asking questions about the impeachment witnesses after she signed the articles of impeachment. For Pelosi and the Democrat-media complex it’s not about proof of any crimes committed by Trump, it’s about smearing him with bogus allegations. “It’s not a question of proof, it says what allegations have been made and that has to be subjected to scrutiny as to how we go forward, but it should not be ignored in the context of other events that could substantiate some of that,” said Pelosi.

Comments:

This would never stand in a normal courtroom, but in Tehran Nan's Kangaroo Court, it is de rigueur!!!

It has always been about not what the nature of the evidence is Your Honor, but the seriousness of the allegations. In this case, it is all about that the Democrats hate Trump and will use any means necessary to get him out of office that is the most important factor facing the Kangaroo Court.

#23, I believe Foley said that about the rumor that VP candidate George H.W. Bush was secretly flown to Europe on an SR-71 Air Force aircraft, to meet with an Iranian government official, to request that the Iranians not release the Embassy hostages until Reagan took over as President.. It was an absurd rumor, but was actually investigated until the Secret Service came forward, broke their customary silence, to say it didn't happen - that they were guarding Bush, and could vouch for his whereabouts. And he never left the U.S. Foley lost some stature at that point, and never regained it.

Allegations are assertions made with little or no proof. The charge of allegations serves the purpose of a continued fishing expedition by the House hoping to find “proof” of President Trump’s alleged wrongdoings. Witnesses see, hear, or know by personal presence and perception. Scripture makes clear that two or three witnesses are necessary to protect “...against a wrongful conviction on the basis of inadequate or false testimony.” If a malicious witness accuses a person of wrongdoing, then both parties are required to appear; “...judges shall inquire diligently, and if the witness is a false witness and has accused his brother falsely, then you shall do to him as he had meant to do to his brother. ... Your eye shall not pity. It shall be life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.” (Deuteronomy 19:15-21) “Punishment must fit the crime—the degree of vengeance could not exceed the degree of original injury. This was not personal vengeance but just punishment following a trial with due process.” The Apostle Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 13:1 that, “Every matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.” Witnesses--not allegations, not conjecture.

If the Trump era has taught us anything, it's that large numbers of white people in the United States are motivated at least in part by racism in the voting booth. Donald Trump ran an openly racist campaign for president, calling Mexicans rapists and criminals, regularly retweeting white supremacists and at least initially balking at repudiating former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke. Trump made it clear in his campaign that "Make America Great Again" meant that America was greater when white people's power was more sweeping and more secure. White voters approved of that message by a whopping 58 percent to 37 percent.

The spectacle Thursday of the Senate swearing in Chief Justice John Roberts, and the Senators fraudulently swearing that they would deliver impartial justice, brought home the fact that the impeachment of President Donald Trump is very real. The House of Representatives disgraced itself with a process that broke with precedent and basic principles of fairness. It impeached the president for legal conduct, on grounds that sow the seeds of future political chaos, if granted legitimacy. Democrats are proposing not only to reverse the will of the voters in November 2016 — an election whose outcome they have never accepted — but also to “interfere” in the November 2020 election,

Urban slang defines a person being "woke" or "wokeness" as someone being cognizant of "social justice." Social justice, in this worldview, encompasses racism, feminism, gender fluidity, inequality, and "undocumented visitors" (illegal aliens). The very word connotes a superior state of being in which any opposing opinion is perceived as a personal affront, or even attack, and triggers the necessity for safe spaces. Opposing viewpoints are bludgeoned on college campuses and in the mainstream media as racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, gun-toting, and Bible-thumping idiocies. Oh, the elitism — and blindness! President Donald Trump made a stark appeal to black Americans during the 2016 election when he asked, “What have you got to lose?” Three years later, black Americans have rendered their verdict on his presidency with a deeply pessimistic assessment of their place in the United States under a leader seen by an overwhelming majority as racist. The findings come from a Washington Post-Ipsos poll of African Americans nationwide, which reveals fears about whether their children will have a fair shot to succeed and a belief that white Americans don’t fully appreciate the discrimination that black people experience.
