Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) on Thursday responded to reporters asking questions about the impeachment witnesses after she signed the articles of impeachment.
For Pelosi and the Democrat-media complex it’s not about proof of any crimes committed by Trump, it’s about smearing him with bogus allegations.
“It’s not a question of proof, it says what allegations have been made and that has to be subjected to scrutiny as to how we go forward, but it should not be ignored in the context of other events that could substantiate some of that,” said Pelosi.

Hmmm . . . I always thought it was up to prosecutors to prove guilt of the accused. Not any more, the accused should prove their innocence in Nancy's world. These people have lost their ever loving mind(s).

One thing is certain. Nancy is not as dumb as Ted Cruz and others who want "witnesses". Or the witty corn pone Sen. Kennedy who want a "fair and honest" trial.

Just when I thought she couldn't make a more stupid statement than "you have to vote for the bill before you can read it she makes an absolutely a more stupid statement. She does not to be in a leadership position.

It's the RAT's MO.
They've always used "the seriousness of the charge" rather than fact based evidence.
Losers. Snowflakes. Ditzes.

Yes, she's as bad as everyone here says. Worse, in all probability.
So? More than 200 Dumbocrap Congresscritters voted to put this less-than-worthless hosebeast into that role. They see and hear her daily. And keep her in that role. So they, every worthless accursed one of them, is fully complicit in this tawdry mess and deserves equal condemnation.
So do the voters who put them into office.
Sad to watch one's country head down the drain. Or it should be.

If it's not a "question of proof", then it shouldn't be called a trial. Which we all know it isn't. It's political theater at its' worst.
Pelosi is a buffoon. Every time she opens her mouth something ignorant comes out of it (other than her teeth). She is absolutely repulsive.

No Nancy. It's a TRIAL. It's about PROOF. You may have heard about this "presumed innocent" thing, you being a "lawmaker" and all. The only thing it's proved so far beyond a reasonable doubt is that you're an idiot, Schiff's a liar, and Nadler's fat.

It has always been about not what the nature of the evidence is Your Honor, but the seriousness of the allegations. In this case, it is all about that the Democrats hate Trump and will use any means necessary to get him out of office that is the most important factor facing the Kangaroo Court.

There are ten stages of senility (or at least should be) in the AMA sponsored code book the physician needs to code to bill for a visit. There should also be ten levels to bill for being Annoying. Nancy should have the highest reimbursement for each.

Nancy, are you sure that is what you wanted to say? I'll bet we can find a whistle blower who overheard someone talking to someone else on a sky fone that said they heard you were having an affair with one of your young female interns. Now if is is not about Proof, then you should be required to resign, without pension, becuase it is about the allegations. s/o

Since President Trump will have five more years in the White House there is no doubt that the Democrats will continue to come up with a lot more bogus reasons to impeach Trump all that time.

Why does this surprise anyone? This is the same dingbat who said they had to pass Obamacare before they could read it. She's always been the dullest knife in the drawer. Her elevator goes down instead of up.
No surprise. She's trapped and she knows it. Gonna be unseated by AOC in the next congress.
MAGA!!! KAG!!! Let's get to the election already--OUT WITH THE OLD (looney left)!

"Even though there is no evidence, the seriousness of the charge is what matters. The seriousness of the charge mandates that we investigate this."
--Thomas Foley (D, MA), Speaker, US House of Representatives
And investigate they did over a charge that ended up being so ridiculous that they actually started to claim that an alien space ship from Area 51 was used in the commission of the scheme. Really happened. It was sick.

#23, I believe Foley said that about the rumor that VP candidate George H.W. Bush was secretly flown to Europe on an SR-71 Air Force aircraft, to meet with an Iranian government official, to request that the Iranians not release the Embassy hostages until Reagan took over as President..
It was an absurd rumor, but was actually investigated until the Secret Service came forward, broke their customary silence, to say it didn't happen - that they were guarding Bush, and could vouch for his whereabouts. And he never left the U.S.
Foley lost some stature at that point, and never regained it.

Her and her ilk are traitors, plain and simple. I think she's doing this to get the focus off of the Ukraine - not only are Biden's hands dirty, so are hers. These so called people are just so corrupt and dirty yet the press protects them.

What world do these people live in? Nancy is looking rather worn out and haggard. Trump is running circles around all of them. Even with all this resistance he's getting things done. I've never in my life time seen so much get done by a president.

Allegations are assertions made with little or no proof. The charge of allegations serves the purpose of a continued fishing expedition by the House hoping to find “proof” of President Trump’s alleged wrongdoings.
Witnesses see, hear, or know by personal presence and perception. Scripture makes clear that two or three witnesses are necessary to protect “...against a wrongful conviction on the basis of inadequate or false testimony.” If a malicious witness accuses a person of wrongdoing, then both parties are required to appear; “...judges shall inquire diligently, and if the witness is a false witness and has accused his brother falsely, then you shall do to him as he had meant to do to his brother. ... Your eye shall not pity. It shall be life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.” (Deuteronomy 19:15-21) “Punishment must fit the crime—the degree of vengeance could not exceed the degree of original injury. This was not personal vengeance but just punishment following a trial with due process.” The Apostle Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 13:1 that, “Every matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.”
Witnesses--not allegations, not conjecture.

Her idiotic anti-justice statement shouldn't surprise anyone. Any demonrat sitting in Congress is scared witless that PT is going to expose all their secret money schemes that they perpetuated on foreign countries though taxpayer funded aid money or from outright blackmail to enrich themselves.
