The climate crisis is the biggest threat to global stability, the World Economic Forum (WEF) has warned. WEF on Wednesday published its annual global risk report, highlighting what its members see as the biggest threats to economic and political stability. For the first time in the report’s history, the top five longterm risks were all linked to the environment. “The planet is heating, the ice is melting, and we see that the library of species are on fire,” Borge Brende, president of WEF, said at a press conference in London to launch the report. “It’s really, really serious.” The biggest

The climate hoax is about another way to tax and redistribute your money the communist democrats cannot raise any other way. It is also their religion as they reject GOD. It is also about keeping the Middle East relevant as the U.S. does not need their oil anymore. There are no facts supporting this movement and they have no interest in the environment.

The sky is falling! The world is coming to an end! If the Left actually believed this, they would embrace nuclear power as the answer to carbon power's greenhouse effects. They shun nuclear power and tout windmills and solar panels, totally inadequate substitutes for carbon power. Draw your own conclusions, but I believe the Left is leveraging climate hysteria in order to expand government control over the entire energy economy.

fta: "WEF released the global risk report ahead of its annual meeting of members in Switzerland next week. The event, more commonly known as Davos, attracts top politicians and business leaders from around the world. " And I am sure all these elites will forgo their usual private jets and armored suvs and will arrive having kayaked and bicycled all the way there. When the global elites start living like the climate is indeed in crisis and start reducing their own consumption, then I will give a flip what they say. Until then, my relatively tiny footprint is not budging and they can pound sand.

I’ve been reading a book about medieval life “AD 1077 This year was the dry summer; and wild fire came upon many shires, and burned many towns.” Other years brought heavy rains and excess lightning and thunder. You get the point: There was global warming nearly a thousand years ago based on modern day criteria. It’s called weather and is based primarily on the activity of the sun and our orbital relationship to it.

Steyer has been spouting this in ads for a while. He's at 2%. People's Most Important Problem poll in Gallup puts this at about 5% of people rating this as a top concern but this also includes the environment and pollution as well. I might see global handling of pollution as a big problem but don't think climate change is a real threat. Beating it out are the top 3 of Government/Poor leadership, all economic issues combined, immigration, and race relations, poverty/hunger, and healthcare. The "experts" have zeroed in on this because it is the one issue that could give them massive amounts of money and power. People have weighed in on this and it is not grabbing their concern or belief no matter how many "experts" scream about it. Their "science" is fraudulent and faulty. Maybe they should just go play hockey.

The globalists' warnings would carry more weight if even one of their previous alarms had come true. A slight increase in temperature is beneficial, unlike a severe drop which would be catastrophic. The Pacific 'Ring of Fire' seems to be getting more and more active. A huge volcanic eruption like Mt. Tambora in 1815 could cause a temperature drop. 1816 Was known as "The Year Without a Summer". It caused massive crop failures and starvation worldwide. That's the only 'climate change' that causes me any concern.

Mike-Two-Two, the website https://wattsupwiththat.com/ has a usually lively discussion of climate science, debunking the rumors and searching for the truth. It is run by Anthony Watts, a longtime meteorologist who 'walks the walk' to minimize his energy use, but also fiercely debunks the 'AlGore' type scare tactics. Bottom line on the site is a search for TRUTH.

A significant provision making any student loan forgiveness tax-free has been included in the $1.9 trillion federal coronavirus stimulus package that’s working its way through Congress and will likely soon be signed into law. Currently, any student loan debt canceled by the government can be considered taxable and levied at the borrower’s normal income tax rate. For example, if someone earns $50,000 a year, and was at a 22% tax rate, and received $30,000 in student loan forgiveness, they might be slapped with a $6,600 bill from the IRS. Soon, borrowers may be off the hook from these payments. What

The Royal Family was left reeling this morning after Meghan Markle tearfully revealed that the stress of royal life made her suicidal when she was five months pregnant, claimed Archie was denied the title of prince because he is mixed-race and said Kate Middleton made her cry before she married Harry in a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey. The couple also chose to reveal that they are having a baby girl to the tens of millions of people watching the CBS show broadcast in the US before accusing the Royal Family of racism and revealing the deep rift 'Megxit' has caused with Prince Charles and Prince William.

There’s something unattractive about a mature woman marrying into the British Royal family with one of the world’s most expensive weddings, hanging out with the Queen, living in insane luxury…and then whining non-stop about the horror of her life. There’s something even less appealing when that woman accuses the Royal family of race hatred. Rep. Steve Cohen vowed to renew the push to remove former FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover’s name from the bureau’s downtown Washington headquarters, according to an interview released Monday. Appearing on Yahoo! News’ Skullduggery podcast, the Tennessee Democrat said the effort is getting a fresh look after the release of a new movie highlighting the FBI’s secret program to discredit civil rights activists. The Washington Times in 2019 first reported Democrats’ bid to strip the longtime FBI director’s name from the bureau’s headquarters. Mr. Cohen said the impetus to revive the bid is the new movie, “Judas and the Black Messiah.” The movie details

“There must have been a moment, at the beginning, when we could have said –-no. But somehow we missed it.” Tom Stoppard The millions of Americans who were paying attention throughout the 2020 election campaign all became painfully aware of the fact that Joe Biden’s cognitive abilities were slipping and slipping fast. His wife, as the person closest to him, should have been the one to call the campaign quits in order to reduce stress on the man. Instead, apparently so anxious to become the First Lady by any means necessary, Mrs. Biden continued to push her failing husband’s campaign forward as if he were mentally qualified.
