A normal court would reject a
dishonest prosecutor like Adam Schiff

Speaker Nancy Pelosi named the seven House impeachment managers who will prosecute the case in the Senate. But one of the two lead prosecutors would be kicked out of any normal court for repeated lies.
Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff has been lying to the world for years in his nonstop campaign to smear President Trump.
Back in March 2017, he insisted that he’d seen “more than circumstantial evidence” that Trump had colluded with Russia to win the 2016 election — a claim exposed as false by the Mueller report.

Every day I watch these criminals in Congress rampaging through our sacred system of self governance, hellbent on destroying it with seemingly no sane opposition to put a stop to it, I feel less and less optimistic about the future. How did we get here???

You can throw Nancy Pelosi in the mix. She laughed at us during the Obamacare hearings and she is doing the same with President Trump. She did not learn anything the first time around. I hope the democrats never rule the house for the next century.

#1, I share your concern. Sitting out here in flyover country, I feel powerless to do anything about it other than vote and express myself on this forum. It appears that no one listens to the cries of the American people. Clearly, the country does not want to go down the path of impeachment but democrats are forcing us to make this complete unnecessary and destructive journey. We are promised that things will change, Barr is on it and Durham is working diligently to bring the guilty to justice. We get nothing from anyone to assure that this will happen. However, everyday we are bombarded by the democrats and their media shills telling us that Donald Trump is an evil man who must be destroyed. All the while the criminal action of the democrat party swirls around us like dust in a high wind. It is everywhere. Yet, democrats go their merry way reeking havoc and ruining lives just because they can. The injustice is enough to make you want to scream. Will the tide turn or will we, once again, be let down by the very people we have been assured can right this wrong. We see the same faces lying to us and boldly vowing to unseat a duly elected President not because of high crimes or misdemeanors but because they hate him and everyone that supports him. I know I am growing weary of it all because I have lost faith that this government can even work anymore. Right now it appears to be a game where the democrats set the rules and call it fair. The only bright spot in the midst of all this madness is the President who fights everyday for this country and its people. How he does it I do not know, but I thank God he does. I want to believe that Pelosi, Schiff, Nadler and all the rest will receive their just rewards. I just can’t for the life of me see how it is going to happen with many of the self-serving Republican politicians unwilling to take a stand for justice in the face of this travesty. God help us to defeat the enemy so deeply embedded in the highest echelons of our government.

"A normal court would reject a dishonest prosecutor like Shiff"? Hah, has the headline writer looked at the biased judges who legislate from the bench?

I can't help but pin the label of "seven dwarfs" on this little group of Nancy's Flying Monkeys every time I hear mention of it. The only reason they look so big on TV is because Nancy is always standing with them and is similar in stature.
The reason this charade looks so serious to us is because most of us are inherently honest and fair and their extreme corruption is hard to fathom. How did this many evil people actually draw votes from their districts?

Actually, I think it might be a good thing to see Nadler and Schiff, once again, spouting their lies and accusations about Trump. Neither is them is a "likeable"! As for the Republicans in the Senate who are pretending to want to hear Witnesses, I think they value their Seat more than they want the Press to cover them for not staying with those who know Witnesses are a waste of time. Even those Senators know it would be a step too far for them to demand to drag out this farce of an Impeachment. They were voted in by Republicans (even if they are from a Liberal State) and those very Republicans can throw them out of office just as easy if they go against President Trump.

The Dems strategy is to get the Senate to do what was their responsibility.
It is like a District Attorney going into court to convict someone and whining to the judge that it is the job of the jury to get to the facts of this case.
My biggest concern is that I don't trust Chief Justice John Roberts at all!

#12, no way that works. Their bodies would all fit, just fine, but their egos would require a semi-trailer. And there is not a one of them who can leave his ego behind and do what is best for the country.

What I want to know is where are the supposedly vaunted legal minds of our Ivy Leagues? Why aren't they condemning the damage to the legal system the democrats are doing here? Or are they all so full of hate that they don't care that the system they supposedly love and fiercely trumpet is in serious trouble and in danger of destruction? The past three years, I have never seen such attacks on the so-called sacred tenets of our legal system the past three years, and all happening without a single peep except for Dershowitz. Don't they realize the precedents that are being set here? It is all going to trickle down to the local LE and DA's and you can take that to the bank.

I'm wondering if putting Schiff for brains as an impeachment manager is too shield him from being called as a witness, along with the whistle blower, by President Trumps defense.

So was Schiff named so he couldn’t be called as a witness???

Initially, I was for dismissal. Not anymore. I prefer Senator Cruz's plan of witness reciprocity. It has many more advantages. First, it stalls the Iowa primary making Warren, Sanders go bat---- crazy. Then it's a form of taking a control. It gives President Trump a voice and his due process. They will call Hunter Biden and it will be adios time for papa Joe. John Bolton is not going to testify against Trump, he's not that stupid. These Lilliputians managers have to be quaking in their boots. Can you see Jim Jordan, and John Radicliffe shredding them to pieces. The level of embarrassment for them will be off the chart and a karmic payback to what they've done to our country.
After all is said and done, what will be the net effect... a pen and disgraceful partisan impeachment from the worse group of Democrats to ever represent this country. The best thing of all is President Trump gets reelected, we add our more senators to our majority in the senate and we take back the house in November. One more thing, Nancy gets put out to pasture on the lowest point of her career.

It's called, "Malicious Prosecution" and any judge who looked at the merits of their case, taking into account the 100% partisan nature of the indictment, would conclude that it's nothing more than a "he said, she said" case and unworthy of the court's time.

You mean the same legal minds that thought Barry the Fraud was a Natural Born Citizen? That don't know, or are willing to parse, the meaning of 'is'?Condemning the damage? They and their students are driving the damage.

One question, are they supposedly representing the House, or "the people", against President Trump?
If so, shouldn't there be a more balanced body of "house managers"?
Also, didn't the GOP request a day of calling witnesses, per House rules, and Nadler stated he didn't have to call them in any specific time?
Did they ever get that day to call their witnesses?
If not, are the House Managers, in violation of their own House Rules?
And, if not, I sure hope the Republicans bring this up, and remind the Democrats they are still owed their day to call witnesses, even if it's after the Senate trial.
