Five Reasons Meghan Markle May Not
Have Got on With Britain All That Well

Prince Harry and Princess Meghan astounded the world — and the Royal family, apparently — when they announced they were giving up on their senior royal duties and decamping to Canada. In fact, Meghan has gone already — appearing to leave Harry to pick up the pieces at home. And it’s a shame, because the UK really did seem ready to embrace its new American princess when the pair tied the knot in a fairytale wedding at Windsor in 2018. Furthermore, the British people really do support the monarchy and do tend to cut them a lot of slack. So what could possibly have gone wrong? –All those flights–

Oliver, she’s not a princess. She wanted that title but the queen, in her great wisdom, refused and gave her the title of duchess.

To address the comment of the O.P., he has hair, and he looks like he's part of the Windsor security detail, not a Windsor. Must be the spawn of one of Diana's, uh, evenings out. Speaking of out, my favorite saying 'breeding will out' might just apply here. It certainly is lacking in the Duchess of Sleazeux, er, Sussex.

Sounds like Meghan is just a typical Hollyweird celebrity; entitled, whiny, obnoxious, and hypocritical. She is also using Archie as leverage/punishment, keeping him from the rest of the family. What does that say about her? Is that why she got pregnant so quickly? Harry, being a typical husband is trying to keep the wife happy but Meghan is far more high maintenance than most. He is being pushed in directions that he will come to regret in years to come.

It is far easier for a royal to act like trash than for trash to act like a royal. You might pick up a bar floozy and enjoy the romp, but you don't take her home to meet the family and you certainly don't marry her. This is why.

Nasty whiny witch, cannot grasp that the Royals have a their own ways, many very historic. And the whole thing about being rude to the servants is so low class and worthless....like Markle. A relative has done corporate charter pilot work, and met some very, very wealthy folks in the process of flying them around the world on expensive jets. He says some are nice people, others "treat you like furniture". I am sure that Markle is one of the 'treat them like furniture' types. Harry will regret his poor choice, no doubt about it.

We don't often get the curtain pulled back to this extent. At times I feel I shouldn't be watching. This is scary stuff. Markle is mixed in with Hillary, Obama and her lawyer is friends with Hillary. If they make the millions they expect to make, Hillary will have an in with British royalty like she does with all the FBI files she illegally read when Bill became president. Markle is being used by these people and if she were paying attention, she'd remember what happened to Diana. The Queen always gets what she wants.

I still believe that Harry still blames the rest of the royal family for his mother's death!!!!! And he chose Meghan to be his wife as a way to publicly embarrass the royals, and cause them all of the headaches that she is doing!!! Meanwhile, Meghan honestly believed she could take her American attitudes and femi-Nazi ideals, and the British people would fall in love with her as the "21st century feminist princess" and the "second coming of Diana"!!! Instead, they saw her as an obnoxious and rude American -- which is exactly what she is. Instead of the second coming of Diana, the British people see her for what she truly is: The second coming of Wallace Simpson!!!!! And that is not a good thing!!!!!

Apparently the head of "the firm" is looking to strip Harry and his duchess of their titles, in addition to all the family and government funding. When Princess Margaret was finally bluntly informed that she would no longer be a princess and would no longer have funding, she decided the future of living in military housing with Peter Townsend wasn't worth the sacrifice. Pay attention, Harry.

Attorney Sidney Powell announced Friday that she has a witness to exculpatory FBI notes (known as a 302) from former national security adviser Michael Flynn’s FBI interview with Peter Strzok and another agent. “We don’t have the original 302 that the FBI agents created and I’ve now found a witness who says the original 302 did in fact say that Flynn was honest with the agents and did not lie,” Powell,(Snip) told WMAL’s Larry O’Connor. “So for someone to delete that from the 302 is just beyond outrageous, but that is the only reason I can think of as to why it would have been deep-sixed,” she added.

The immigration debate in our country has been dominated by huge corporations who want more (and cheaper) workers and by liberal advocacy organizations who want America to take in as many people from developing nations as possible, partly for humanitarian reasons and partly to drive up the voter rolls for the Democrats. These dueling interests have dominated for decades and led to a permissive system with a large influx of new immigrants, both legal and illegal. In response, conservative voices have pushed back on what they see as overly open immigration policies. Lost in this policy debate is what we should really be focused on: what’s good for America.

James Carville says Trump is the greatest threat to America since the fall of communism. It is easy to laugh away such a declaration, but I think there is an invaluable truth expressed. Trump is as important in stature as the United States' most formidable military and political opponent of the twentieth century. Trumpism as an ideological force has the mass and acceleration of a Soviet Empire that threatened to conquer the world. Nobody speaks about the Bush Doctrine in such terms. Nobody confuses the Obama Doctrine or the Carter Doctrine as projecting that kind of power.

Johannesburg—The United Nations World Food Programme said on Thursday that a record 45 million people in the 16-nation Southern African Development Community faced growing hunger following repeated drought, widespread flooding and economic disarray. Southern Africa is in the grips of a severe drought, as climate change wreaks havoc in impoverished countries already struggling to cope with extreme natural disasters, such as Cyclone Idai which devastated Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi in 2019. Zimbabwe, once the breadbasket of southern Africa, is experiencing its worst economic crisis in a decade, marked by soaring inflation and shortages of food, fuel, medicines and electricity.
