This is what I predicted he would do, it is in his character.
He is perfectly willing to teach a lesson, but wants to change attitudes, curb behaviors, not destroy them.
Probably the best thing for right now.

Right move for now. If this stops the crescendo of wanton attacks it was a huge success. If Iran returns to business as usual then we need to play 52 pickup the pieces.

So he's going for regime change. They should have stopped while they could. Like socialists of every stripe they over-reach because deep-down they are full of hubris. Now, they are on their way out, even if they don't realize it yet. I won't miss 'em, though Carter and Obola will.

Well, what can I say...? Disappointed? Yes, because my irrational thinking said, bomb them to teach a lesson. Grateful? Yes, because the price of gold and bitcoin came down to an acceptable level for an investment opportunity.

...then he turned his attention to domestic enemies and announced the arrest of Obama and Kerry and clapper and Brennan for seditious treason!

This is far from over. Iran has been exporting their 'revolution' since the fall of the Shah. The events of the last couple weeks have done nothing to stop this. There will be more acts of terror. There will be more civil wars and unrest as various Muslim groups, all modeled after Iran, continue to take over other countries through the use of intimidation and force. Islamic extremism is spreading around the world. Much of it thanks to Iran.
Trump knows this isn't over. He also knows there is no will for another war in the Arab world. There will be more sanctions that will stop nothing. Trump may well retaliate after the next attack on Americans done by Iran, and that won't change anything either.
Iran will continue to export their revolution as long as the Ayatollahs are in power. Even if they were removed, there are other groups to contend with.
Iranian influence should never have been permitted outside of the Arab world. They have been killing one another for millenia. Now they have taken their stupid war worldwide.

One wonders whether these missiles were a facade for the Iranian home front. Great launch...they shot their missiles in the air, where they landed may have been away from their "intended" target. Where exactly did they land...anyone?

I almost thought PDT had a double today. He seemed so not himself in the tone of his voice and how slow he spoke; I even thought I heard a tremor in his voice, or maybe he had a bit of a cold. He almost seemed weighted, which is to be expected, but the whole thing also seemed like some kind of rope-a-dope. I can't put my finger on it, but there appeared to be a lot more there. I hope so anyway. My thought was blow something up. Blow 1/4 of the 52 sites up! The best parts of the speech was that he put the blame squarely on obambiden, and he didn't take any questions from the nasty press. Walked in, then turned around and walked the heck out. Loved it!

I, too, was concerned about his apparent dyspnea and slow, occasionally stumbling speech. His message was good, as it often is, but he didn’t sound at all well. Hope he’s OK.
