Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will
‘step back’ from being senior royals
and will become ‘financially independent’

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are moving out of the UK as they "step back" from royal duties, Buckingham Palace confirmed today. The pair are set to split their time between Britain and North America--with Canada expected to be their second home. The couple plan to be "financially independent" and move away from their current senior roles in the Royal Family--but will still support the Queen. A statement this evening said: “After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution.

Comments:

Friends of the couple have argued that the monarchy future is focused on Prince Charles and Prince William and that is has been made “very clear by the institution that the Sussexes are not central to the future plan.” Although not a scholar of succession to the British throne, it makes common sense that “the Crown is inherited by a sovereign’s children or by a childless sovereign’s nearest collateral line.” That means Charles, William, and George.

The Duke of Windsor (David, King Edward VIII) was Queen Elizabeth's uncle, not her brother. His abdication cleared the way to the throne for Elizabeth's father (Albert, King George VI).

The Duke of Dumbarton blew it royally by marrying the yacht girl/escort. They will still live like royals on their "charitable trust," as do many other jet-setters. The move begs the question of why the Crown spent all that money renovating Frogmore Cottage, down to the "vegan" paint for the nursery and the handcrafted copper bathtub, when the locals say the couple never even lived there.

They say they are going to move to Canada where Megan has lived for about a decade working as an actress, and has a lot of friends. They are supposed to have about 44 million dollars or pounds between them, so living in Canada is going to be rough for them. Just think, for their circle of friends and hangers on, Megan will be the unofficial Queen of Canada. If that does not work out they can always move to Hollywood.

Prince Harry must have listened to this song to many times and was brainwashed by sex. When a man loves a woman, Can't keep his mind on nothin' else, He'd change the world for the good thing he's found. If she is bad, he can't see it, She can do no wrong, Turn his back on his best friend if he put her down. When a man loves a woman, He'll spend his very last dime Tryin' to hold on to what he needs. He'd give up all his comforts And sleep out in the rain, If she said that's the way It ought to be.

U.K. citizens are up in arms about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's shocking announcement that they will take a backseat from their "senior member" status of the royal family to work independently. But instead of wanting the couple to keep the current structure the same, many are calling on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to relinquish their titles entirely. Norman Baker, a former Liberal Democrat member of parliament and home office minister in the coalition government, sounded off on the couple's 2020 plans to partially support the queen while simultaneously having financial independence.
