New York Times columnist Paul Krugman is appearing to be having technical difficulties as he acknowledged Wednesday on Twitter that his IP address had been "compromised" and used to "download child pornography."
"Well, I’m on the phone with my computer security service, and as I understand it someone compromised my IP address and is using it to download child pornography," Krugman wrote in the tweet. "I might just be a random target. But this could be an attempt to Qanon me. It’s an ugly world out there."

A day from now, expect him to say he dowloaded it all for "research."

I know you are not supposed to judge a book by its cover, but I'm sorry, Krugman has ALWAYS looked like a seedy pervert you'd see hanging out by a schoolyard. He bears a striking resemblance to another all-time champion weirdo, Knicks* owner James Dolan.
*Full disclosure: I am a long-time, long-suffering Knicks fan. Not yet in rehab/recovery, but at least I admit I have a problem...

Could be true and it could also be an attempt to get out in front of the story. The replies to his tweet are worth reading the article.

Yes Paul, blame it on Q. But you mentioned before that Q was fake, just a LARP. Are you coming around Paul? If there is trash on your computer then you put it there. And hopefully caught.

Ah, that's not how it works unless he has a fixed IP - a simple search of his history would confirm or refute the charge

Permitted for Democrats, like having Chinese spies as chauffeurs. End of story.

Most routers get a dynamic IP address from the ISP and that is the IP address your computer is known by. Any time your router boots it gets a different ip. The isp can trace back from the MAC address of the router at any given time. That is he is full of it. Turn history off in your browser

I'm sure it was the Iranians trying to get even with Trump by launching a cyber attack against Krugman. Yeah, yeah, that's the ticket. Its all Trump's fault.

For many years I had a customer who was a bit of an odd duck. Anyway, he'd been out of the country on business, and when he returned there to greet him were several car loads of FBI agents who cuffed him and hauled him away. It turned out the guy had been a distribution kingpin of degenerate child porn. He was convicted sent to prison and was never heard from again. Prison is not kind to white collar criminals who prey on children. I suspect Paul Krugman is finding himself in a precarious situation, as the Feds won't care if he won a Nobel Prize.
