Should the missile attack on Iraqi bases housing U.S. troops turn out to be the extent of Iran's response, then the operation to kill Iranian terrorist leader Qassem Soleimani will turn out to be a major victory for President Trump.
Though the Pentagon has yet to release a full damage assessment, preliminary reports suggest that Iran's action resulted in no U.S. casualties. After days of tough talk and chants of, "Death to America," Iranian officials are now claiming that they have no interest in further escalation if the United States does not retaliate. This could be it.

Hit them back. Those cockroaches only understand ruthless power. They snigger up their sleeve when the ignorant leftards bend over for them in hopes they'll be nice.

This was probably a feint. Expect the real response in a few months.

Chances are the Iranians will get their real dirty work done through their proxies within months. President Trump has to make it clear to the Iranian leadership that if that happens that it will be the leadership that will be targeted and not just their ignorant ground troops.

Gen (ret) Keane was on FBN this AM and basically said the same thing. The ballistic missile attack was made against bases where there were US troops but the majority of people there were Iraqi forces. I've been to Al-Asad and it's out in the middle of nowhere. Collateral damage would consist of making craters in the sand and the missiles would need to be in sufficient numbers and very accurate to cause many casualties or to damage the runway. According to Keane, the attack was a face saving move to say to the masses that they "did something" to the Americans. The most populous US base in Iraq is Balad, which is much closer to Iran but was not touched. So, yes this was a victory for us.

Actually, this was probably it. They had to have something to point to as "retaliation", but they were hurt bad enough, and scared spitless, and while they have to do something, they are now pretty frightened to do anything which would cause Trump to take out Khameni, or someone else high up.
I think this was all we will see for quite a while. I am pretty sure that Trump has "gotten their attention", and they have decided that this isn't a fun game to play anymore.

"Cost/Benefit Analysis" must encompass the totality of Iranian regime and the past 40 years.
Still chanting "Death to America" while begging peace, the accounts are now even?
Doesn't exactly add up.
Does it?

Excellent point, #7. The Dems and Enemedia really have done some damage to themselves, and they don't even know it.

When POTUS Trump said we have 52 sites(including cultural sites)targeted the Iranians messed their pants, literally? They knew their infrastructure would be decimated and possibly the ayatollahs would be rubbed out too? That's why they responded in such a weak manner?
POTUS Trump just has the ability to do the right thing at the right times!

Never, EVER believe anything an Islamofascist murderer or a "liberal" so called Dim-O-Crap says or implies. They always lie and lie with impunity endlessly. ALWAYS.

Iran just put on a free fireworks display for our troops. No one injured or particularly inconvenienced. Anyway, President Trump just put some more sanctions on Iran, and is jazzing up our ''allies'' to start thinking how THEY will protect their interests in the area. We don't need no stinkin' middle east oil any more!

Although the Iranians look stupid, they aren't. Irans "Supreme Leader" knows that if President Trump had the temerity to exterminate their top terrorist he will not hesitate to eliminate future threats to Americans. I'm sure the 52 identified targets Trump has identified are human not fixed targets.
