Harrowing video shows a pizza shop worker being brutally assaulted during a robbery near Seattle. The footage, released Monday by the King County Sheriff’s Office, shows Southside Pizza employee Brittany Brophy fending off an attacker who busted into the White Center business via a back door late Monday. The assailant, clad in all black, can be seen approaching Brophy inside an office, where she was counting money just before ending her shift, Q13 FOX reports. Brophy immediately retreats onto a desk while kicking wildly at the man, who then tries to subdue her. The man grabs a bundle of cash while still struggling

From a local news outlet about this attack that for some reason the New York Post didn't print...'The owners indicated on Facebook that the suspect has stolen from the store before.
"We’re all stunned as this is a huge escalation from the idiots that stole pizza from us a few weeks ago," the owners posted

I am always amazes me to see a woman, alone, late at night being the only person left in a business where there is cash to be counted. Wasn't there one, single man who could have stayed with her, walked to her car with her or done whatever else needed to be done to keep that woman safe? And, why wasn't that back door locked at all times! My daughter is often the person to close her Dental Office, which is in a large Dental Arts building. The parking lot is somewhat dark. The night watchman always walks her to her car. Just good sense with all the Weirdos in the world lurking about! Pizza place should put some good sense security plans in place!

It's worth a look to see the scrappy woman fight back. Admirable but no, not a Hollywood finish.

Worst disguise ever.
I like how he reached under his shirt and pulled out -- wait for it -- his finger!

Washington state has a fairly reasonable Shall Issue CCW law. Anyone who is a pizza delivery man and is not armed is pretty dim.

Of course, that "man" means man or woman, in this context.

When I was a young man working in fast food, there was always 2 people working at closing. The back door had a deadbolt 1/2 inch thick, on a steel door you'd need an hour to cut through. Door was always locked, except for dumpster runs or ciggie breaks with alway 2 people outside at any time.
Safe was cemented into floor, and deposits were made at any time register got over enough money to make change for a fifty dollar bill.
High School labor was cheap at $1.60 P/H. Now, due to minimum wage increases, minimum staff, minimum safety precautions.

OK, L-Dotters - - do your part!
Be on the lookout for a "man." If you see a "man" - - call the police immediately!
I'm on the alert right now - - keeping a sharp eye out for a "man."

Multiple stories posted right now of liberals who don’t seem to understand the world is a dangerous place. Maybe this why they don’t think we need guns. Violence and theft only happens to other people, it’s never happened to me ... then boom, it happens. Am 6’2”, 235, and anticipate danger at any moment. How could the most vulnerable feel so safe?

Hmmm so they're gonna go arounds picking up everybody wearing black, white folks, chinese folks, native americans. No mention of the really really important fact that he was a black man wearing black. Lord these people who blind themselves to reality need to move to another universe.

Thanks for the laugh, #13. That helped me understand the entire ''robbery.''

They way Hollywood shows it, the woman gives a single kick and the assailant goes flying through the wall.
