Revolutionary Guard General Qassem Soleimani, the powerful head of Iran's elite Quds Force, has been killed in an airstrike at Baghdad International Airport, Iraqi TV and three Iraqi officials officials said Friday. The officials said the strike also killed Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the deputy commander of Iran-backed militias in Iraq known as the Popular Mobilization Forces, which were responsible for the recent attack on the U.S. embassy in Baghdad. An official with the PMF blamed the U.S. military for the strike. 'The American and Israeli enemy is responsible for killing the mujahideen Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and Qassem Soleimani,' said Ahmed al-Assadi, a PMF spokesman.

The media is saying that Iran will now retaliate against US bases and forces throughout the Middle East. If that happens, the USA should immediately take out the entire Iranian Navy that is very vulnerable while at sea or in their based along the Iranian Coastline.

FTA: "'At the direction of the President, the U.S. military has taken decisive defensive action to protect U.S. personnel abroad by killing Qasem Soleimani, the head of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps-Quds Force, a U.S.-designated Foreign Terrorist Organization." I stand corrected now from my previous statement from the Fox News article. President Trump has sure thrown gasoline, or should I say oil, into the fire that is Iran and their proxy terrorist organizations by these overt killings. FTA: "PMF officials said five of their members and two 'guests' were killed in the airstrike on their vehicles inside Baghdad International Airport." It will be interesting to find out who these VIP's "were", and what their countries intend to do about their deaths. From a previous article in the Daily Mail [UK] today, a loud-mouth Iranian general claims that they can hurt US after President Trump tweeted yesterday that he held Iran responsible for the attack on our embassy in Iraq. It is important to remember, that like the DPRK, if the head of state from Iran makes the direct threat to US, they can yell and cry all they want without US unleashing the Dogs of War. FTA: "'We are not leading the country to war, but we are not afraid of any war and we tell America to speak correctly with the Iranian nation.' Islamic Revolutionary Guards Commander, Brigadier General Hossein Salami warned. 'We have the power to break them several times over and are not worried.' https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7844977/We-power-break-times-Iranian-general-warns-not-afraid-war.html

Iran is finally being made to answer for its many acts of terrorism against the United States. I was assigned to the U.S. Embassy in Vienna, Austria, in 1979 when our Embassy was taken over in 1979, and many of my colleagues were taken hostage. When our embassy in Beirut was bombed in 1983 I was stationed in Rome. Many of my colleauges were killed in that bombing. It was terrible. Later that year, in October, I was at a dinner party in Rome when we got the news that the Marine barracks in Beirut had been bombed, killing 241 marines. Some of those young guys had just completed basic training at Camp Lejeune just before being sent to Lebanon. We finally have a President who is not afraid to take immediate, decisive action against the terrorist regime of Iran.

What was Iran's head of terrorism doing at the airport in Iraq. Sounds like he had set up headquarters for his harassment of our embassy. He should not have been at the front line directing his terrorist troops. Most generals know enough not to set up headquarters at the battlefront. Sounds like he thought he could get away with almost anything and the US would not fight back. Since the Iranian general was at the airport picking up foreign guests. Better check if John Kerry, Obama, ValJar or Hillary got injured. The Democrats have been telling the terrorists that they will be able to give them more help after the election. No wonder all the Democrat congressmen are mad. They wanted to be able to warn any visiting Democrats that they were in danger.

They tried to pretend they were glad he was dead, that he deserved to die, but their quick condemnation of the action that took him out exposed what they were really thinking.
