First Lady Melania Trump brought the fireworks as she entered the annual New Year’s Eve celebration at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, on Tuesday evening.
Melania Trump strutted into the New Year, alongside President Trump, in a sequins embroidered evening gown by Givenchy that resembled the sparks of fireworks in the sky. The gown is cut from black silk georgette, features a round neckline, and gradient-like gold sequin embroidery that trickles down from top to bottom. Currently, the Givenchy frock retails for about $4,740. Mrs. Trump chose a pair of black satin pointed stilettos by Manolo Blahnik and her signature smoldering smokey eye makeup for the night of celebration.

That was an incredible dress on her. Loved the sequin placement. Kind of like a sparkly snowfall on a black background.

He looks pretty good, too. Seems to have dropped a few pounds. Hasn't the press noted how trim he's looking these days?

Agree Melania is a fabulous First Lady. Style question though; why doesn’t she wear earrings very much? Or any other jewelry? Aside from her wedding rings, she seems to eschew jewelry. Not really criticizing her, just a question. Now, I do think her gowns and beauty do not need augmentation but it’s my own bias. I love jewelry.

Loved the dress but I adore her hair up. It looks so wonderful on her and you can see her beautiful face better. She is so lovely. Always stylish and appropriately dressed for every occasion. Michelle Obama dresses like the bully she is. She is always trying to be trendy and fails but has that do not criticize me attitude. She pales in comparison to beautiful Melania. Is really is a good versus evil contest. The First Lady clearly has a good, kind and compassionate soul. Mrs. Obama, not so much. She is an angry and, no doubt, demanding woman and it shows.

I enjoy seeing such a classy women as our FLOTUS, imagine me trying (ha!) to wear those high heeled shoes and shutter to think of a male First Gentleman's report of how he was so demure in a blue suit with a red and light blue shimmering $2000 tie, smart blue socks and matching pocket silk handkerchief.

All you can say is "Wow!" I wonder which pattern of tent fabric was being worn by the previous first lady on New Years Eve.

What a wonderful couple representing WTP in the United States of America. On the world stage with leaders of other countries they are rock stars. I don't think I'm missing the potato sack dress with boob belts and 'toned arms' of Sasquatch Obama.
You'll never see this beautiful lady on the cover of fashion magazines or in news articles but we do enjoy it and support the First Couple. Happy New Year Mr. President and First Lady Melania Trump.
