There’s a poem Jews sing every evening after lighting Hanukkah candles. It’s called “Maoz Tzur” — Rock of the Ages — and was written during the Crusades, one of the many times when Jewish blood ran through the streets; its lines are laced with the tragedy and longing that typifies Jewish liturgy.
(Snip)But the majority of the perpetrators of the Brooklyn attacks, and the suspects in Jersey City — who were killed in a shootout with the police — and now Monsey, were not white, leaving many at a loss about how to explain it or even talk about it. There is little evidence that these attacks are ideologically motivated,

With Democrats regularly telling their constituents that Israel is evil and practicing jews by extension are evil, what do you expect?
So yes it IS ideological!!
Democrats: the party of hate.

It's "an inconvenient truth".
It is not convenient that the liberal media can't blame it on Trump.
It is even more inconvenient that spiritual warfare is at the root of it.
(No one in the media could ever acknowledge that!)

Sorry, Mr. Batya Ungar-Sargon, salvation already came and most Jews missed it 2,000 years ago. I have nothing against Jews, Jesus and the earliest Christians started out that way, and Israel is our friend and ally, but I still think you missed the boat on this one.

Sorry but they ARE talking. Spreading mistruths.
The left, including The View, has already blamed “the right wing” for these assaults and they were not corrected.
More lies passed off as fact by the media.
By the way...
Jessie Smollett was not attacked by rednecks wearing MAGA hats. Jeffrey Epstein did not commit suicide. The pee pee tape was fake.

Do not understand OP's comment that they heard this 'man' speak - Batya Ungar-Sargon is a woman. She is also a woman, who while attempting to write objectively, writes things like, "...our president, who has a penchant for anti-Semitic tropes,...". The example given of one of President Trump's "anti-Semitic tropes" was a comment made in jest and the Jewish audience understood it and laughed.
President Trump has supported Israel and Jewish people everywhere with all of his being. Perhaps unreasonable and lamentable anti-President Trump bias is also a part of the problem.

President Trump has done more for the State of Israel than any of the other forty four presidents. so I just ignore her snarky comment. That didn't keep me from reeling about the horrible violent attacks. The poem titled “Maoz Tzur” fairly blazed off the page right into my heart. One of the most beloved Christian hymns is Rock of Ages, by Augustus Toplady, and published in 1775. Surely there are Christians near these places who could/should come to the aid of these Jews, who are our brothers. It grieves me beyond reason that this happened to the most vulnerable among us. It doesn't matter that the media and the political baiting blame whites and Christians for these attacks. More likely gangs are at the heart of it, and my bet is MS-13 or the roving bands of terror cells stationed in Jewish centers and neighborhoods. Shalom mishpacha.

Then stop voting for democrats! Until then, don’t come whining to the only political party that actually cares about, advocates for, and protects Jews.

These attacks against Jewish people are the result of long held grievances and resentment by Black ghetto dwellers against Jewish people, with who Black ghetto dwellers have nothing in common. Those Jewish people control most of the business activities around those predominantly Black communities, and are seen by those Black ghetto dwellers as financially taking advantage of, and ripping off Black communities, through Jewish business acumen.
Those attacks have nothing to do with President Trump or the majority population in the USA. Chances are when more is known about the perpetrator in the latest attack and reported by the media we will be told that he is either a mental case, or is a member of some Black nationalist or political organization that is generally and ideologically allied to the leftist and liberal Democrats.

When you have the Democrat Party members like Schumer, Schultz, Schiff, Nadlers and other Semites who caucus with Jew haters like, Cortez, Omar, Presser and Talib. Who refused to attend this historic move of Israel's capital to Jerusalem for there hate of there President. Who tolerate the anti-Semetism and phony Right of Return movement designed to overwhelm Israel. Our fellow Semitic brothers and sister need to stand together with us and rid this nation of the wolf that once again is forming into packs. The Jewish people have a great friend in President Trump and why do you continue to support these who despise and hate you. Have we heard from Jesse Jackson lately or does he still have Hymietown in his soul

I have heard that Orthodox Jewish communities usually vote conservative. They have figured it out, if not their Reformed brethren.

Why not? Why is no one asking the major and governor about their incapacity to protect their residents? They are the first line of defense- NOT Dc

You're right, #7. My comment was incomplete, since I left out the name of the man I heard speak, Armin Rosen. I didn't mean the writer of this article.

Batya, dearheart - I was right there with you, until you wrote:
While the Brooklyn attackers are, at least according to demographic trends, extremely unlikely to be Trump supporters, our president, who has a penchant for anti-Semitic tropes, is a conspiracy theorist, and anti-Semitism often manifests as a conspiracy theory about secretive Jewish power.
Come on now - is this just political Tourette's? You can't help but blame President Trump - without cause, without substantiation. There has probably never been a better friend of/supporter of Jews than Donald Trump. Perhaps looking closer to home - DeBlasio, may be a more appropriate target for your wrath.

It isn't that they can't talk about it, it is that they won't. Won't because it would totally expose and derail their party agenda for destroying this nation. Can't have that.

The perp is a member of the Black Muslims. Most of the attacks against Jews are from the Islamic Terrorists. But you will never hear that from Hizzoner. Today's Democratic Socialists are simply a revival of the NAZI party.

No one has commented about this in connection with the attempted mass shooting at the Texas church. The shooter there, well armed and operating with total surprise, killed two before being killed himself.
These attacks in New York, especially the multiple stabbing with a machete at the synagogue... how different would that be if they were armed like those at the Texas church.

Voluntary rabbits of NYC are surprised when predator criminals kill them. This is the inevitable result of disarming everyone but the criminals. The average liberal/progressive know it all loves the illegal NYC laws against a citizen with no police record being armed. When they aren't trying to publish the home address of NY state's LEGAL concealed carry permit holders, they are dreaming up more unconstitutional laws like the SAFE Act of NY. Reap what you sow.
