A Germany university found that a 10.4 percent increase in violent crime was linked to an influx of migrants into the country's southern region. The increase in crime took place in 2015 and 2016 at the height of the European migration crisis, when German Chancellor Angela Merkel ignored E.U. rules and allowed an open-door policy for migrants entering the state from war-torn Syria. (Snip) A huge wave of migrants flooded into the European Union in 2015 from countries through Greece and Turkey that led to more than one million migrants applying for asylum in Germany.
They needed a study? We've all seen it, you'd have to be willfully ignorant not to know.

15 GOP Governors want to resettle more refugees in their red states.
Last time I checked, there is $$ in accepting refugees. Anyone who puts money ahead of their country should be tried for treason.

Suggestion to the dumb Germans: write a note about these 'surprise' findings (not) to Merkel. If Putin's handmaiden gets a ton of letters perhaps she might want to address the problem, but I doubt it.

I won’t click on a Newsweak article. Does it say where the immigrants came from? As if we didn’t already know.

Ich bin auf äußerste schockiert.
Nicht wirklich. Used to live in Lower Saxony, was just back for a visit for the first time in over 10 years - OMG has Hannover gone downhill. And yes - fun-loving young men of no description, their wrapped up wives and scores of children all over. I see why native germans (who can't afford large families) can feel like their country has left them. It's freaky.
And BTW Newsweek - get a map! Though it's called Lower Saxony, it's BANG IN THE MIDDLE OF GERMANY. BAVARIA and BADEN - WÜRTTEMBERG are the southern states.
Idiots.

How did they figure this out? Thank God for the geniuses who did.
I'm still stunned.

Who would have ever thunk that importing masses of uneducated and unskilled military age foreign Muslim men into highly educated and organized German society would not result in the very serious perpetration of violence and crime targeting Germans? Only morons. I lived in Southern Germany for about three years in the mid 1960s when violent crime was as rare as hens teeth.
Asking US Governors if they would accept foreign “refugees” into their States was a start, but the real question they should have been asked is how many foreign “refugees” is your State willing to accept and pay their living and medical expenses for an extended period of time? Then when the Governor gives a response, that should be the number of “refugees” allocated to that State that should bare the financial responsibility for those “refugees” until they become self reliant or until they die.

Yes, #2. Those governors are driven by greed. It is not compassion or anything close to that noble. It is all about the money they can squeeze from the federal government and to heck with the economic health and safety of our citizens. I am appalled and disgusted by these fools. Why can’t they understand the concept of putting this country and its citizens first? Americans are angry that the leaders they elect continue to disappoint them and sell us down the river. I am so done with these idiots.

FTA: "A Germany university found that...."
In other news, a Britain university offers classes in how to write the English language. After the author attends those, she can go to a France restaurant for dinner and then maybe see an Italy movie.
