GOP Sen. Lisa Murkowski said she was troubled to hear Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell promise "total coordination" between himself and the White House regarding President Trump's impeachment trial. McConnell, 77, of Kentucky, made the comment about his plan to work with the White House, which sparked fierce outrage among Democrats, during an appearance on Hannity earlier this month.

My feelings about Murkowski, unlike Susan Collins, have always been that her "ethical" statements are more about bringing attention to herself than actual ethics. She hasn't let me down. But I WILL say that if she decides to be the fly in the impeachment ointment, she will never be forgotten by the Republicans in this country....and I hope the voters in Alaska will feel the same way.

The Never Trumpers do not want him having any kind of legal representation in their kabuki farce. If politics were honest, she would not have been allowed into the Senate in the first place, given all the rules in Alaska she was allowed to break to get back there. I loathe this woman, daughter of one of the most corrupt men ever to come from Alaska. Glad Sarah won the battle to get him defeated and put into prison. Nasty loathsome man. Lisa likes the social life in Washington DC, the cocktail parties and the lobbyists who attend them. I've always thought of Alaska as the premier frontier state where outdoor type men and women go to live independently. Why would they elect her? What has she done for the state of Alaska? If I recall, there was a young guy who challenged her a couple of election cycles back. He was very impressive, but her Democrat machine came through for her. She needs to be scrutinized harder by the party. She's not a Republican and needs to be defeated.

Last I heard Mitch McConnell offered the same treatment of a trial that Bill Clinton received. Fair enough but Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer want to control the outcome and go for a slam dunk but McConnell isn't intimidated or playing ball with them. What's wrong with McConnell representing his party and recognizing the President the left did it in lock step with Bill Clinton and Obama. Turn about is fair play. Murkowski can stay disturbed but she's riding on the wrong horse for this one.

His wife, as the person closest to him, should have been the one to call the campaign quits in order to reduce stress on the man. Instead, apparently so anxious to become the First Lady by any means necessary, Mrs. Biden continued to push her failing husband’s campaign forward as if he were mentally qualified.
