In each of two video appearances, on NBC News and at Wall Street Journal’s “CEO Council,” Attorney General William Barr provided the same basic information and views about the U.S. intelligence community’s actions against the Trump campaign in 2016 and 2017. A criminal investigation is underway and being led by U.S. Attorney John Durham.
Barr was motivated to make the public statements, he said, by the misreporting and confusion surrounding Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report issued on Dec. 9. It found serious government surveillance abuses but no evidence of political bias on the part of the offending FBI(Snip)
Below are 24 points Barr felt the need to make
FTA...22. Are people going to be held accountable, including at the very top of our intelligence agencies and FBI? Well, they’re all gone. OK, aren't they still responsible for breaking the law?

Frankly, Ms Sharyl, I don't give a damn what AG Barr chooses to 'chat' about.
I'm still waiting for him to charge, indict, convict and imprison at least a few of the Swamp Dwellers! I'm starting to think he's not going to charge anybody at all. Doesn't he know, you cannot shame these people by pointing out their corrupt actions?. They have no shame when the enemy is Deplorable.

He also said the Ukraine corruption between the State Department, the Bidens, and the DNC is going to be on his "to do" list shortly. The evidence that Giuliani has amassed from Ukraine sources is stunning. The Ukraine anti-corruption law enforcement agency is actually being run by the holdover Clinton State Department funded through Soros backed NGOs and is actively obstructing justice to block the testimony of Shokin, Lutsenko, and Dertash against the Bidens. The entire impeachment inquiry is actually the largest case of obstruction of justice in our history. It was fabricated from the start to prevent the uncovering of the greatest bribery and money laundering crimes in our history committed by Joe and Hunter Biden to syphon millions from Ukrainian taxpayers.

In Navy parlance it's called a, "Shot across the bow" and the left had better heed this.

You don't need, "beyond a reasonable doubt," to charge you need that to convict. Charging puts the pressure on and the rats tend to come out.

Nothing is going to be done to clean up the FBI until Trump gets rid of Christopher Wray. Wray is defending his guys! He is not going to help weed out those who had a part in the attempted Coup, he is going to hide them. Wray is not on the President's side! If Comey and Co skate, voters are going to be demoralized and they will stay home in 2020! Someone needs to tell AG Barr to start putting People inJail and quit talking in circles!

Point 11 is crucial. The standard for the IG to find "bias" rather than ineptitude or bad judgment is very high. These people are innocent until proven guilty, no matter how obvious their guilt seems to the common sense of an observer. That's why we have grand juries and trials. That's the prosecutor's job, not the IG's

This is the best short commentary of the bunch.
The grin is perfect at the end. And if that grin doesn't send chills up the spine of Comey, Brennan, Strzok, Page, Pientka, Ohr and many more, they are stupid.

Can PDT appoint Giuliani to head up the FBI and get rid of Wray?

Yes, #9, but I would bet that Rudy wouldn't want the job.
I'd really like to see either the FBI literally closed down and erased, or at minimum, a solid law enforcement person put in charge. Preferrably from inside the FBI, if an honest senior official can be located.

I found the "Well they are all gone" answer unprofessional and flippant. Yes, it all takes time. But AG Barr is not keeping sight of the fact that the public has been on this road of being told "We're on it" for 3 years and nothing to show for it but more promises to have it by the next calendar event. If he doesn't understand that his job is in the spotlight and people want to know what is going on ... then maybe he isn't in the right position. Clearly, he competent, capable and experienced enough to do the job but the is a public side to the job.
