The decisive defeat of the British Labour party strongly suggests that a fundamental shift in the politics of the world has taken place — that the non-ideological wave of unrest sweeping the world really has deeper roots than Donald Trump or Fox News. Glenn Simpson and Peter Fritsch, the founders of Fusion GPS, tried to blame the fall of Labour on Putin. "Britain needs its own Mueller report: a full, independent and public accounting of Russian efforts to interfere in its politics. Few people will look forward to this process in a country already exhausted from fighting over Brexit. But it’s essential to halt Russia’s attack

FTA: "...it is essential to recognize that the age of giant state projects, unelected global organizations and millennial endeavors is over." I certainly hope so. The money flowing to US universities is extremely troubling. Beyond reporting it, there needs to be an absolute, ironclad prohibition on it, and clear eyed understanding that any sort of money laundering scheme to bypass it will be dealt with severely. Already, a university degree from any schools is a serious disadvantage in life unless it is a clearly focused job training program in the STEM fields such as an engineering degree.

ACTION - REACTION Throw everyone and their disparate cultural/political systems together into a stewpot of instant global internet/social media communication, and season with faster/more frequent travel opportunities, etc.....this is simply the inevitable, somewhat overdue pushback!

A Florida man, found eaten by an alligator this summer, died from a meth overdose before his body was ripped apart by the reptile, according to a medical examiner's findings. Michael Ford, 45, was found face down in a canal in Fort Meade on June 27 and Polk County Sheriff's investigators theorized he might have drowned before an alligator began eating the man's remains, NBC News reported. A hand and a foot belonging to Ford was found in the beast's stomach.

BROOKSVILLE — By the time they arrived in Hernando County, the burglars had refined their methods. Michael Ornelas, 56, was a locksmith and expert safe cracker, investigators would later say, while William Granims, 57, knew how to monitor police radios, and Matthew Petruccelli, 67, served as lookout. Ornelas and Granims had worked together a long time. In the late 1990s, they stole more than a million dollars of jewelry and money from stores in North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama and Georgia. They got caught. They did time. They got out. They moved to Florida. From 2011 to 2012, they hit four stores, authorities say. More in the next couple of years.

The impeachment proceedings being prepared by the Democrats in Congress and the Trump administration efforts to portray it as a coup may together produce an allergic reaction more lethal than the disease each professes to cure. To senior Democrat Adam Schiff, the removal of Donald Trump is too important to be left to the 2020 ballot box. "The argument 'Why don't you just wait?' amounts to this: 'Why don't you just let him cheat in one more election?'" The current US political crisis, whichever side prevails, raises the question of whether any outsider can ever be legitimately elected again if the candidate must

Actress Kristy Swanson -- who became famous for her role as "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" -- is one of the most vocal and popular MAGA stars out there. Every day, she takes to Twitter to defend President Trump and take on his most ardent critics -- especially those living in Hollywood. Fellow actress Alyssa Milano is, politically, the exact opposite of Swanson: she truly hates Trump. Day after day, Milano shares tweets and videos in which she accuses Trump of the vilest possible crimes and vices. Where Swanson is beloved by the right, Milano is the left's Hollywood darling. Aside from their political ideas, there's another major difference

Attorney General William Barr said Tuesday it’s possible the FBI acted in “bad faith,” disputing one of the principal conclusions reached in a recently released report from the Justice Department’s inspector general. In an interview with NBC News, Mr. Barr said he disagreed with Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s finding that the FBI’s investigation into the Trump campaign was justified. “Here, I felt this was very flimsy,” Mr. Barr said. “It think you step back here and you say, ‘What was this all based on,’ it’s not sufficient.” “There was never has been any evidence of collusion and this campaign and the president’s administration has been dominated

“I do not think it means what you think it means.” – Inigo Montoya The Department of Justice Inspector General’s (IG) report into the FBI lying to the FISA Court to get warrants to spy on the Trump campaign is 433 pages. It took AG Bill Barr one paragraph to translate what all of it means in the real world. Oh, and don’t pick it up because you might burn yourself. "The Inspector General’s report now makes clear that the FBI launched an intrusive investigation of a U.S. presidential campaign on the thinnest of suspicions that, in my view, were insufficient to justify the steps taken.

Four people are dead, including the assailant, after a shooting at a U.S. Navy base in Pensacola, Fla., on Friday. According to anonymous officials and Gov. Ron DeSantis, the suspect was a Saudi Arabian national in the U.S. for flight school. That sounds familiar... Nineteen of the 9/11 hijackers were Saudi Arabian nationals, and most came to the U.S. for flight training. Three hijacker-pilots, Mohamed Atta, Marwan al-Shehhi, and Ziad Jarrah flew to south Florida for fight training about a year before the horrific September 11, 2001 attacks. Sean Davis, co-founder of the Federalist, noted the eerie similarity. "Just spitballing here, but maybe it’s time

I don’t smoke anymore - take better care of myself.” Nelson canceled a tour in August because of “breathing problems,” and it’s those problems that prompted him to quit smoking weed.

Kamala Harris quit the 2020 presidential race. Meanwhile journalists note that the world is caught up in a frenzy of unrest driven by something other than the demand for a 'new world'. What's the connection between the fall of the 'female Obama' and an endemic but non-party led global unrest? The connection may the be the decline of millennialism. (Snip) They are seemingly rebels without a cause. Yet for most of the 20th century and the early part of the 21st the great political causes were driven by a desire to reshape the world. One of the recurring themes in Andy McCarthy's book Ball of Collusion, describing the events surrounding Robert Mueller's fruitless effort to determine if Russia helped Donald Trump win the 2016 election is the distinction between two kinds of knowledge that comprise narratives: what we can believe and what we can prove. As an experienced former prosecutor McCarthy carefully distinguishes between estimation (the province of intelligence analysis) and proof which is (or should be) the currency of the justice system. Jointly they make up conventional wisdom. As Martin Gurri's The Revolt of the Public noted
