One of Hillary Clinton’s former aides reacted to the apparent Conservative Party victory in the United Kingdom’s election by tying racism and xenophobia to the win. Peter Daou, who was Clinton’s internet director during her 2008 presidential campaign, expressed his displeasure with the results on Twitter on Thursday. “Never underestimate the impact of unadulterated racism and xenophobia in the election of rightwing white males around the world,” Daou, who also worked on John Kerry’s 2004 presidential campaign, said.

This is the Left's perennial refrain when they lose. And, it's such a constant that the majority of thinking people have just tuned it out. Also, we know who the real racists are. It isn't Republicans who oppose charter schools and who work to convince minorities that they are helpless, hopeless victims, who are incapable of self-governance and who need the nanny state to dictate to them on every single issue and support them cradle to grave via the government dole. Can you imagine a coach or a shrink advocating victim psychology, not to mention, anger and spite?

Two points- we went on a cruise from Southampton, UK in Oct and most of the people were British. Both of the couples sitting on either side of us were not for Labor. One of the couples were very interested in self defense and really didn't like that even almost all the police do not have guns. I am very sure they weren't going to vote Labor. Then yesterday, I heard an interview with a random person in England. He was no fan of Boris but he thought the Labor plans would be completely financially disastrous. Of course, neither of these people, like most people, are not racist On the other hand, plenty of Labor people are anti-semites.

Why would anyone listen to a guy that has been on the losing side in two presidential campaigns? Daou was the online communication advisor to John Kerry's failed 2004 presidential campaign, and digital operation supervisor for the failed 2008 Hillary Clinton presidential campaign. Keep up the good work conservatives, it appears we're really hitting a nerve with these liberal fools.

The disturbingly horrible stabbing murder of Barnard freshman Tessa Majors over a cheap robbery by one-to-three thugs is an awful story. The victim was an 18 year old female freshman, a very young-looking teenager, walking to campus around 7 or 8 p.m. when it would have been dark. It hits home for me because I was a student at Columbia in the pre-Giuliani early 1990s and recall being told to never go to Morningside Park where it happened. I went there six years ago for the first time at my class reunion and recall feeling unsafe in broad daylight even then. It's a wilderness-y narrow park on a sloping hill

Rep. Adam Schiff is a wily, calculating old weasel, and in drawing on his impeachment show, he thought he had a live one in Vice President Mike Pence, the man who theoretically stands to gain from any removal from office of President Trump. Schiff asked Pence to declassify records of his conversations with Ukrainian leaders, same as Trump declassified his records of phone calls. It should have been easy.... But he was in for a surprise: Instead of jumping to do what Schiff wanted, Pence calmly blew smoke rings at him. Democrats and the mainstream press – is there any difference between the two these days? – have been clinging to the “no bias” statement by the Justice Department inspector general with all their might. The IG said that he couldn’t state definitively that political bias motivated officials at the FBI to launch and then sustain an investigation against the Trump campaign based on the Clinton-campaign funded and thoroughly discredited Steele Dossier. That was enough for press to run headlines such as: “Bias didn’t taint FBI leaders running Trump-Russia Investigation” “Report on F.B.I. Debunks Anti-Trump Plot” “Mistakes, but no political bias in FBI probe of Trump campaign: watchdog”

Not too long ago, the press was calling President Trump a goner. Remember this early October Fox News poll that shocked so many people? They had it that a majority of randomly selected registered voters, 50% to 41%, were all in for impeaching and removing President Trump. We had our doubts, but the press reported that as perfectly representative of public opinion, undoubtedly a lit fuse to the eventual ouster of President Trump. Here's what Peggy Noonan was saying after that one: Impeachment of course will happen.

Unless the Senate removes President Donald Trump from the White House after articles of impeachment have been filed against him this week, it appears we’re going to go through the entire affair again and again, until the 45th president is either kicked out, loses reelection, or serves out a second term. The Democrats have developed an unhealthy obsession that is clearly based on their hatred of the man. House Democrats announced Tuesday that they will charge Trump with abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff, who seems to have a maniacal fixation on the president, claims the evidence of wrongdoing is “overwhelming and uncontested.”

In an attempt to bolster his campaign, Joe Biden keeps insisting that Democrats aren’t leftist enough to nominate Elizabeth Warren or Bernie Sanders. Is he really that out of touch with his own party? Biden recently scolded a reporter from Axios for suggesting that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Bernie Sanders – both avowed socialists – are more representative of the Democratic Party today than Biden. His response: “You guys got it all wrong,” he said. “You all thought that what happened was the party moved extremely to the left after Hillary. AOC was a new party. She’s a bright, wonderful person. You've heard of the Marxist "permanent revolution" strategy for permanent leftist power grabs? Democrats have their own take on it, cooking up "permanent impeachment." That's all they have to offer in exchange for America's votes. After spending their past two years in the House majority doing absolutely nothing but fighting among themselves until they united on the matter of negating the results of the 2016 election, impeachment now and forever is all they have on offer for voters. If they can't get Trump this time, they'll get him the next. No USMCA, no border wall, no health care, no infrastructure, not even free stuff, a Democrat specialty.

BROWNSVILLE, Texas -- Salvador Castillo was yearning for tranquility when he became enchanted by a one-acre homestead close -- but not too close -- to the city, a place where cows graze beneath whispering mesquite trees on the property's edge. Castillo, an Afghanistan war veteran, and his wife bought the home using military benefits and grew their family into their new neighborhood -- about half a mile from a bend in the Rio Grande. They never imagined a border wall could dissect their property someday. But the first letter, stamped with an official government seal, arrived about a year ago. Perhaps if Democrats would momentarily shelve their obsession with Donald Trump, they’d comprehend the staggering abuse of power they’re defending these days. Because much of Tuesday’s Senate Judiciary Committee Hearing with DOJ inspector general Michael Horowitz was jaw-dropping. Horowitz’s testimony, in fact, sounded little like the media depiction of the IG report only the day before. Most major outlets had stressed that the IG had found no bias in the Crossfire Hurricane investigation. But failing to uncover explicit instances of bias and exonerating the FBI aren’t the same thing. Worse, most of the media had buried the lede.
