Senate Judiciary Committee member John Kennedy, R-La., said Wednesday that Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz's report on FISA abuse during the 2016 Trump presidential campaign made him want to vomit. While questioning Horowitz, Kennedy said the inspector general did a good job in compiling his report and that its findings are not a reflection on him. "I'm about 70 percent of the way through but I'm going to finish it, and it is tedious... It's supposed to be tedious," he said. "After about 15 percent of the way through, it made me want to heave," Kennedy added. "After about 25 percent of the way through I thought I had dropped acid --

Sen. Kennedy, we could not agree more strongly. So, where are the criminal referrals, indictments, criminal trials, convictions, sentencing, and prison terms? Is Horowitz now party to the dim coverup need I ask?

The Republicans are spending too much time telling how they feel instead of getting at information that would be helpful to the people. That is unimpressive to me.

If you're expecting "criminal referrals, indictments, criminal trials, convictions, sentencing, and prison terms" from Congress, you're looking in the wrong place. That's not the job of Congress, and it shouldn't be (not even for Dimmwits such as Pigsty, Shitt, and LardButt)!

Boy, Have the Democrats Ever Overplayed

If cosmic justice were to prevail, Democrats would drop their impeachment sham in confessed disgrace and move to give President Donald Trump a second term by acclamation for having ceaselessly abused their power in trying to nullify his first term. Though cosmic justice won't prevail, the Constitution will, including its prescribed Senate check on impeachment and its provision for election of presidents through the Electoral College. The Democrats have given new meaning to the term "overplaying your hand," and their witch hunt will continue to backfire. They will fail to remove Trump from office and, through their egregious overreach, will have probably ensured his re-election.

"Quid pro quo" was the accusatory Latin phrase most often used to describe President Donald Trump's July 25 phone call asking for a "favor" from the president of Ukraine. New Year's prediction: The Roman poet Horace's Latin depiction: "Parturient montes, nascetur ridiculus mus" -- "The mountains went into labor, and brought forth a mouse" -- will be used to describe the articles of impeachment drawn up by Nancy Pelosi's House. Article II is titled "Obstruction of Congress." What does it allege? That Trump "directed the unprecedented, categorical, and indiscriminate defiance of subpoenas issued by the House of Representatives pursuant to its 'sole power of Impeachment.'" Undeniably, there is truth here.

Federal agents foiled a human smuggling attempt along the US-Mexico border in San Diego when they found 11 Chinese nationals hiding inside a moving truck full of furniture, officials said. The Customs and Border Patrol officers stopped a 42-year-old US citizen behind the wheel of the truck arriving from Mexico at the San Ysidro crossing about 5:30 p.m. Saturday. After stopping the vehicle for a secondary search, they found the group crammed inside various pieces of furniture and other items — with one also crouching inside a washing machine. The unidentified driver was arrested for attempted human smuggling and later transported to the Metropolitan Correctional Center, officials said.

The first signs of trouble ahead for newly elected so-called moderate representatives in swing districts are being felt here in Virginia's 7th District. Rep. Abigail Spanberger hopped on the moderate train in 2018, touting her CIA background ad nauseam to the people of the traditionally Republican 7th District. With the help of millions of dollars from pro-abortion PACs and Soros-funded outfits, volunteers from Northern Virginia spread out over the western and southwestern suburbs of Richmond to give her a slim margin of victory over Republican Dave Brat. But Spanberger's cover as an across-the-aisle moderate is not holding up well under the pressure of an impeachment hoax

What an incredible week so far, and Wednesday is only just beginning. Monday saw the release of the Horowitz report that completely demolished the Steele dossier and the upper echelon of the FBI. Having done that, it left the entire Russian hoax in smoking ruins. Then, Tuesday morning, we saw laughably grim-faced Pelosi and Nadler announce the articles of impeachment they hope to bring against the president. The articles have about as much meat on them as year-old cow bones in Death Valley. Then we segue to Hershey Giant Arena for the president's rally last night.

The second impeachment article (ARTICLE II: OBSTRUCTION OF CONGRESS) released by House Judiciary Chairman Nadler (D-N.Y.) charges the following: ... President Trump directed Executive Branch agencies, offices, and officials not to comply with those subpoenas. President Trump thus interposed the powers of the Presidency against the lawful subpoenas of the House of Representatives, and assumed to himself functions and judgments necessary to the exercise of the "sole Power of Impeachment" vested by the Constitution in the House of Representatives. President Trump abused the powers of his high office through the following means: (1) Directing the White House to defy a lawful subpoena by withholding the production of documents sought therein by the Committees.

He shredded the anti-Trump lib law profs who came before the hearing, getting all three to admit donating to Democrat candidates, and one to writing snarky columns about the president. Michael Bloomberg used to be against impeachment but now he says he is for it because Trump is working for himself instead of for the public. It appears that Bloomberg is confused because it is Trump who is working as fast as he can to transfer the power, purse and freedom to the public. He is the opposite of a dictator. Every Democrat running, on the other hand, is seeking to transfer as much power and money to the government as fast as they can and make as many people as they can dependent on government. On Monday, Yaniv said she was 'shocked.. and confused... and hurt' after a gynecologist office allegedly told her 'we don't serve transgender patients'. 'Are they allowed to do that, legally? As a former U.S. attorney general, I am reluctant to publicly criticize my successors. I respect the office and understand just how tough the job can be. But recently, Attorney General William P. Barr has made a series of public statements and taken actions that are so plainly ideological, so nakedly partisan and so deeply inappropriate for America’s chief law enforcement official that they demand a response from someone who held the same office. Last month, at a Federalist Society event, the attorney general delivered an ode to essentially unbridled executive power, dismissing the authority of the legislative and judicial branches — and the checks
