Former Vice President Joe Biden’s top advisers and prominent Democrats outside the Biden campaign have recently revived a long-running debate whether Biden should publicly pledge to serve only one term, with Biden himself signaling to aides that he will serve only a single term. While the option of making a public pledge remains available, Biden has for now settled on an alternative strategy: quietly indicate that he will almost certainly not run for a second term while declining to make a promise that he and his advisers fear could turn him into a lame duck and sap him of his

One prison term would be enough. Too old for a second sentence for corruption,

Could we ask Biden to amend his promise to — serve only one day?
That's more than enough of him.

You won't have to worry about even a single term there, Bullwinkle.

Dear Electorate,
My appreciation for your enthusiastic devotion manifested by the size of my Electoral College win is without bounds. It provides a wonderful capstone to me career, and a validation of the occasional thing I actually believe in.
It is, however, with much regret that I am announcing that I cannot serve as your President. I quite simply do not have the capacity to do so! I therefore urge you all to support the vice president, my son Hunter Biden for the upcoming four years of service to our country.
In all sincerity,
Joe

Give it up, Joe.
Why doesn’t Jill do the right thing and convince him that it’s time?

If he got elected, I doubt he'd make it to his inauguration, particularly if his VP was Hillary, Kamala, or Corey.

That means that if Joseph Biden is nominated by the leftist and liberal Democrats, whoever Barack Obama tells Joe Biden to pick as his Vice-Presidential nominee in return for Obama’s support will be the person, most likely a very liberal Black politician, who Obama wants to be the President of the USA without being elected. As Obama is the leader of the Democrat Party, Biden will have to do as Obama says. As you have to figure that if Biden will not run for a second presidential term and that if Biden does not cash in his chips before the run-up to the 2024 election, that Biden will quit the presidency because of age, or ill health, sometime before that election run up, to give Obama’s choice the presidency, without ever being elected, and a big leg up to run for re-election in 2024.

One term at his age and with his mind is overly optimistic.

If he got that idiot that lost the governor or whatever from Alabama or wherever it was, and made her VP, he could resign and that idiot would be president. Horrors.

I don't care what anybody says, this guy doesn't seriously want the Presidency. Nobody goes in and limits themselves to one term in advance. That is to label yourself a lame duck from the get go. On the other hand in four years imagine how rich his son would be at the end of that time.

Somewhat like John McCain in 2008. He wanted to run, but I'm convinced that he either didnt want to actually win or didn't know how to campaign once he got the actual nomination. You just DON'T proclaim yourself a Lame Duck before you've even secured the nomination if you are serious about winning the presidency and running the nation.

A vote for Biden could mean at least 8 years with his VP elevated to POTUS. Same as JFK or FDR.

Fantasying when he's not doing push ups. This bozo won't even serve one day so he better resign to just staying home sucking on Jill's fingers.

Under the new precedent, we can begin impeachment hearings right after he is sworn in. No justification necessary.

A friend of mine speculated that if Biden got elected, and he has the best chance of all the Democrats, ole Joe wouldn't last a year before they Amendtment 25'd him. He was warning about the veep pick... likely a Bernie Sanders or Warren.... being the real president brought in by this trick.

Joe probably knows his mental state is not likely to last beyond four years. He is already unhinged.

When reminded that the President's term is 4 years, rather than the Senate term of 6 years that he has grown accustomed to, he backtracked, curled his eyebrow in deep concentration as he tried to do the math in his head, and said he meant that he would run for reelection no more than 3 and a half times (after which his eyes rolled back and he passed out).

To say that he would not run for a second term would make him a "lame duck" from the start. Is he already setting up an excuse for being a "do nothing" President?
