Thank goodness I don't live in the 22nd district of Texas. I'm tired of crawling over broken glass to vote for RINOs!

He can team up with Ivanka and figure out new ways to give away more taxpayer money! 3 months leave federal workers, extend tax credits to non-profits....

It reads this is the son of Neil of the Silverado Savings and Loan (Denver) fame. The same guy whose mother, Barbara, said "the only reason they are prosecuting Neil is because he is the son of the President! Barbara, dear, that is the only reason he was invited to be on the Board of Directors...shades of Hunter Biden...energy company...son of an important American with absolutely no experience. It looks like Hunter/Joe Biden are not the first to play this game. I think it's time the Bushies get real jobs, with P&L sheets and actual cash flow.

So, decided to go for the safer seat instead of the 7th where his grandfather used to represent, and face a tougher Dem opponent?
If he can maintain the seat, it's a win, since Pete Olson seems to have won in 2018 by only 5 points (down from 16 in prior elections).

My district, and another opportunistic snake in the grass/Bushes. I suppose the spineless Republicans will just make way for him because of his name and I will be forced to choose between him and some Democrat with a foreign surname. A pox on them all.

I will pray no conservative is fooled one bit by what is happening here. Next generation of Deep Staters being launched from my state. I told you Rove has been a busy beaver. After people voted for Romney, I wish I could had more faith Texans would reject Bush.

I have had a rule to vote for No More Bushes. My last vote for a Bush was 2004.
Since I live in Texas, I have had several opportunities to test that theory in primary and general elections for Jeb!'s son as Land Commissioner. A job he's screwed up numerous times.

I am way past getting over another governmental dynasty. Of course, he may go no farther than Texas, but I must be realistic. Somebody could have convinced him it is his destiny.

There is not the slightest chance I would ever again vote for ANY Bush. But, I don't live there, so I hope that folks that do live there are smart enough to not vote for another Bush, too.

I know everyone here is tired of the Bush family, but there other considerations. Who else is seeking the nomination, if anyone? What is the make up of the district's electorate - is this one of those places that is rapidly turning suburban blue? Is a "moderate" Republican the best we can hope for here? And does any of us know anything about Pierce Bush other than his last name?
I don't know the answers to those questions, but we need to be mindful that politics is an irksome business. You take what you can get.

I know nothing about Pierce. Other than the fact he is not a Schiff, Nadlder, Pelsosi. AOC and a list of damocrats to more than fill this page. He may be a RINO. I don't know, but would you want AOC in his place? I realize she is in a different district and they are not in direct competition. AOC just know when or where she should shut her mouth.
