A young graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, whose dream was to become a pilot, is being hailed a hero after he reportedly related crucial information about the identity of the Naval Air Station Pensacola shooter to first responders, despite having been shot several times, a family member revealed. Joshua Kaleb Watson, 23, was confirmed as one of the three victims who was killed Friday morning when Saudi national, Mohammed Saeed Alshamrani, opened fire on a flight training program for foreign military personnel, Adam Watson revealed in a Facebook post. Later Saturday, Defense Secretary Mark Esper told Fox News' Chris Wallace all 3 victims were Americans.

OP you are right about that. Most of our service men and women don't deserve the PC, political weasels that infect higher commands of all branches of the military. Disgraceful and the rot of senior command should be purged ASAP.

The question we should be asking is when did the Saudi shooter post his anti-American rant on Twitter and why wasn't he reported to "the authorities" and to the Pensacola NAS commander to be investigated as to whether he possessed firearms that could have been taken away under the "Red Flag laws" which could have prevented the senseless slaughter?

Time to bury his buddies up to their necks in a fire ant colony and see what they have to say.

"Our diversity, not only in our Army, but in our country, is a strength. And as horrific as this tragedy was, if our diversity becomes a casualty, I think that’s worse,” General Casey said.
He actually said this after the Muslim Nadal murdered 13 people at Ft. Hood.
A perfect example of our PC infested Flags.

#2 - No red flag laws needed, as he was not allowed to have weapons on base to start with. That was the first offense and, since he knew nobody else except 'authorities' would be armed he was home free. Nearly all of these take place in 'no gun' zones.

Yes, let's train more Saudis to fly airplanes. What could go wrong with that?

May God bless this family, and Ens. Watson and help them to deal with this terrible loss. USNA grads are fine people, I know a number of them, and we are diminished as a country by Ens. Watson's tragic loss.
I can tell you, after 10 years, our USNA grad's KIA loss still leaves a hole in our family.

This guy deserves the Medal of Honor and I bet PT gives him one for valor under muzzie fire. Had Barry still been in office or had his crime insulated Butcher got elected, the shooting would once again be called work place violence and everyone denied medical benefits. That's the difference between a competent president and demonrat incompetent ones.

#11, I agree he was brave, but the MOH is usually for saving many lives under fire. Surely worthy of a Bronze Star, maybe even a Silver Star, depending on the details. MOHs should be reserved for the most conspicuous bravery under fire.
But, I am not charged with that decision, and do not have all the information, so maybe I'm wrong.
Regardless of the hardware which might be issued, he was heroic in a terrible time, and did his best until his last breath. THAT will be remembered.

I am outraged! The HERO was the Officer on Deck at the time of the shooting and was shot 5 times. He was also a Rifle Team Captain. WHY wasn't he permitted to have his gun on him? Seriously, I want an answer from the Joint Chiefs, DOD and anybody else responsible for leaving our brave warriors sitting ducks on their bases. THERE IS NO EXCUSE!
