What Happens if Roe Is Overturned? Answers
to 7 Questions on the Battle Over Abortion

Original Article

Posted By: LittleHoodedMonk, 12/4/2019 8:53:36 PM

Nationwide access to abortion is more vulnerable than it has been in decades, partly because of an aggressive campaign by Republicans and President Trump’s election and appointment of two conservative Supreme Court justices. But as The Times’s Elizabeth Dias and Lisa Lerer recently reported, many abortion rights advocates have also blamed their movement’s own missteps. Some pointed to a rift between national organizations like Planned Parenthood and independent clinics. Others said they saw peril in making support for abortion access a litmus test for Democratic candidates. These pressure points will be further pushed in the coming months of the 2020 presidential election and as courts hear a series of cases

Comments:

This is written simply not to panic their constituents. An interesting primer from the New York Times telling the voters of the dRATS infanticide party to "mobilize to win local elections". Just what we have been telling GOP voters ever since Roe vs. Wade allowed abortions on demand. Any blame that they place on US is due to President Trump fighting back by beginning to stack the federal judiciary. 2020 is a MUST WIN for US.

Here's what happens if Roe v Wade is overturned - women will go for back alley abortions or kill themselves trying to abort themselves.

What happens is that the matter goes back to the states, where it had been. Let Idaho and Virginia have laws, enacted through the methods of those states by those elected by and accountable to those citizens. Inasmuch as there is no mention of abortion in our Constitution, the pretense that it is proved, and continues to prove, the stupidity of entrusting too much to the Judiciary.

While Roe is in effect, abortion can't be murder since it can't be "unlawful", one of the essential elements of murder. However, it is always a homicide, starting at the moment of conception.

Short answer it goes back to the States to decide. States that have a population with morals and a conscience will stop abortion. Those that are liberal will continue the killing of the unborn.

What happens? It reverts back to the States to determine. NY already allowed abortions prior to Roe, so did Alaska and Hawaii. I believe California already has laws to ensure it would remain legal there, even if Roe is overturned. I'd bet most States would maintain some form but likely have more restrictions that Roe seems to have denied those States to enact. I doubt many would revert to back-alley abortions, but then in PA they had a doctor who performed many horrendous, but legal, abortions.

It's the NYT, not a chance I will click. And besides, I already know. A number of states will outlaw or severely limit abortions, which will save tens to hundreds of thousands of lives each year.

Wow, I scanned the comments to the article and was horrified. Not one commented that abortions kills a living human. All were ranting about Reps, Conservatives, Extremists, leading to the end of the world if they can no longer slaughter unborn babies. Wow, we are so divided. I do wish we would split into two countries: one that protects the unborn and the country with borders, and the other side can live out their utopian dream klling babies and funding illegals.

A few conservative states would totally ban abortion. So the women in those states might have to drive an extra 50 miles to another state to slaughter their unborn babies. But any woman that wants to slaughter her unborn baby will still be able to do so. And a few lie-beral states will make abortion legal and available for 9 months, and will probably pay for it with tax dollars. I'm sure they will even force Christians who are opposed to the slaughter of unborn babies to pay for it for their employees!!! Most states will ban the most horrific of abortion procedures (partial birth abortions and 3rd trimester abortions) but still allow women to slaughter their unborn babies for the first two trimesters. So basically lots of unborn babies will still be being slaughtered!!! But at least there will be a few pockets of morals and sanity in a very evil world!!!!!

They achieved abortion through judicial power. It was accepted. Americans reluctantly supported it. by a very small margin in polls. But the left is never satisfied. They advocate partial birth abortion and full on infanticide, after keeping the child "comfortable" in the words of Dr. Mengele's cousin, Ralph Northam. So now the libs do what they always do. rhetorically retreat back in time 50 years to the original Roe vs Wade. They have trod on religious liberties, forced taxpayers to pay for the killing of children, and shown themselves to be medieval butchers. Their overreach and turning to genocide may cost them that abominable ruling they love so much.

The murdering commies have been quite surprised by the depth and breadth of pro-life beliefs in America because of their penchant for pretending not to know things. They pretend that pro-choice is open minded tolerance. They pretend that hundreds of thousands marching for life every January in D.C. are only fringe fanatics. They pretend that a decade-long national prayer vigil every Lent did not affect the closure of 200 abortion mills. They pretend that sonograms do not exist. They pretend that killing the "product of reproduction" is "reproductive healthcare". They pretend that everyone who is anyone agrees with them. They had no sense of the "resistance" growing against their genocide until our first, truly committed Pro-Life president took the oath of office. President Trump never fails to reiterate his commitment to the sanctity of life at every public opportunity and rally. He sincerely grieves for the tens of millions lost to us. MAGA - Its for life!

Mr. Graves was elected to Congress in 2010, after serving eight years in the Georgia House of Representatives. Research, reporting, and record-keeping can be a funny thing. The federal government aims to tell us what the global climate will be like a decade from now, yet it struggles to tell us what happened regarding abortion in America three years ago. We are not interested in taking a position here on the topic of climate change, but we do pay close attention to abortion statistics, and once again the news, slow in coming as it is, is uneven. The latest abortion surveillance (not our term) report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention brought welcome news that abortion rates in the United States continue to fall.

One symptom of a society in crisis is the unreliability or even corruption of its own auditors. After all, when the watchmen have lost moral authority to watch, who can be believed or trusted? Or, as the Roman satirist Juvenal famously put it, “Who will guard the guardians?” It was recently reported that FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith altered an email to bolster a suspicious FBI effort to obtain a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court warrant authorizing the surveillance of Carter Page, a onetime employee of the Trump campaign. If true, Mr. Clinesmith helped the FBI successfully delude the court into granting what was likely an illegal request to spy on the Trump campaign.

She said this in an interview today with Howard Stern, which makes it slightly less weird since chatter about lesbians is like 40 percent of the content on that show. Or at least it was when I was a regular listener a million years ago. (In fairness to Stern, she’s the one who brings it up.) He went easy on her by not asking the obvious follow-up: What were you doing at Epstein’s ranch, then? She should consider this a missed opportunity, as a surprise admission of bisexuality would have helped add a little more “diversity” to an upcoming Democratic debate.
