George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watch volunteer who was acquitted in the 2012 fatal shooting of unarmed black teen Trayvon Martin, is suing Martin's family and Florida prosecutors, claiming that they engineered false evidence in the homicide trial. The lawsuit to be filed Wednesday in Polk County Circuit Court seeks $100million in civil damages for defamation, abuse of civil process and conspiracy. It alleges that the prosecution's key witness in Zimmerman's 2013 murder trial, Rachel Jeantel, was an imposter coached by the family and their lawyers. The lead defendant in the suit is Sybrina Fulton, Martin's mother. Fulton gained national notoriety as an advocate for social justice

The press is STILL pushing the narrative that St. Trayvon was a 12 year old innocent shot dead by a vigilante because he went to the store for some candy and a drink. Repulsive!! I am glad that he is filing a lawsuit and hope he perseveres.

Wish both sides would just go away. Every person is responsible for their own safety. Both of these idiots seemed to ignore that, and one of them died. If either of these people had taken a different course of action, the entire incident would never have happened. I blame both of them.

I found it improbable that Saint Trayvon and the surly girl were on the phone, non-stop, for several hours. Youngsters text back and forth for hours, but they don't talk in that way. (well, maybe two girls do, but not a boy and a girl.) I wish the defendants included the fat female state's attorney, though. She was the person administering injustice.

News has driven people to suicide even. Mr. Zimmerman should be compensated for the wrong done to him with ridiculous claims by officials.

Many of us knew that Rachel Jeantel was lying because she could not read the letter she "wrote" - she claimed it was because she couldn't read cursive. That was an absolutely astounding moment in the trial - that's what tripped her up, that the defense attorney asked her to read the letter. I'm still a little surprised that GZ's lawyers didn't seize on that at the time and call into question her credibility. Ramona (the Pest)

If any of this can be proven true, the lawyers, at least, should face discipline. But there is a certain irony, because the alleged fake witness was so unbelievable that she helped Zimmerman get acquitted. Also, pox on the Daily Mail for printing the childhood photos of Martin.

A few thoughts. George Zimmerman will never collect one dime. Don't ever forget the role the reprehensible Pam Bondi, then the Republican AG of FL, played in this matter. First thing George Zimmermans lawyers should do is get the sound byte from the Piers Morgan show where hussiens son trayvon's girlfriend said that Trayvon jumped on Zimmerman. The whole case should have been thrown out when this girlfriend said that. Also, I read that this girl on the witness stand is not really the girlfriend. Trayvon's girlfriend was a hottie. This was not both guys fault. The only one who was at fault here is hussiens son, Trayvon. He started the fight.

A Canadian transgender woman whose legal complaints against several beauticians who refused to wax her male genitalia were dismissed, has said now a gynecologist won't see her. Jessica Yaniv, 32, claimed numerous Vancouver estheticians discriminated against based on her ‘gender identity and gender expression’ when she requested a Brazilian bikini wax. But last month a court found the claims were found to be 'unjustified' and 'improperly motivated' by financial gain. On Monday, Yaniv said she was 'shocked.. and confused... and hurt' after a gynecologist office allegedly told her 'we don't serve transgender patients'. 'Are they allowed to do that, legally? We fought wars for oil, undermined unfriendly governments for oil, but in the end, we were at the mercy of others for our oil supply. Our economy was held hostage by OPEC, as even a small change in the price of oil would send markets reeling and slow economic growth. But in September, that all pretty much ended.
