Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter was admitted to a south Georgia hospital over the weekend for treatment of a urinary tract infection, a spokeswoman said Monday.
Deanna Congileo, a spokeswoman for The Carter Center, said in a statement that the 95-year-old former president was admitted to Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus over the weekend. 'He is feeling better and looks forward to returning home soon. We will issue a statement when he is released for further rest and recovery at home,' she added. Carter, America's oldest living president, has overcome several health challenges

Poor old Jimmah is falling apart like most 95 year olds. I wish him well but won't miss him.

Jimmy Carter's administration had a strong impact on me. It caused me to change my affiliation from Democrat to Republican. The health of the USA was very, very bad during those painful years.

#2 me too. Carter is a dog and anti-semite. He will get his reward soon enough by God.

Jimmy Carter lost Iran to the Mullahs, sold the Panama Canal, made a disastrous deal with North Korea that Bill Clinton had to accept, and has undermined every president since he was defeated in 1980. He is our second-worst president, and (so far, at least) our worst ex-president. I won't miss him when he's gone.

If Jimmah's exploits in Iran and N Korea are considered, he has had water on the brain for a long time. Always wondered how Ford lost to him.

Satan can get a package deal with Jimmy and Ruth Buzzy if he acts by year end.

It’s not too late for Jimmah to get into the 2020 dimocrat field. He’s no worse that the rest of ‘em.

He's like the energizer Bunny, keeps plugging along. But I think his days are numbered.
A severe UTI can really wrack havoc on his kidneys. Too late for cranberry juice.
Maybe some humble pie.

I would never wish death on any man. It will come to all of us sooner or later. Jimmy Carter is/was a decent man all in all but also a world-class fool. He got played by every hostile nation on the planet. A man who should never been President and he sullied his reputation when he became a bitter, vindictive old man when RR booted him out of office.

Jimmah's days are numbered. 95 is about tops for anyone. I think he will keel over before Ruthie does. Thinking back to 1976, we got Jimmah as a result of Watergate, a less than stellar campaign by Gerry Ford, and an msm that thought we needed Jimmah.

I don't like Jimmy Carter's politics but he is an old man and is slowly on his way out and needs prayers for the repose of his immortal soul.

People who say he was a good President weren't alive at the time. Like old luggage, he's hung around way too long. I'm not going to wish him ill, but I won't miss him one bit, either.

He's lived long enough to see someone worse than he was. Obama has saved his legacy. He also built a lot of houses along the way.
Cranberry juice, buddy. Wouldn't hurt to put a jolt of vodka in there, too.

One small correction, #5. Carter didn’t lose Iran to the mullahs; he out and out gave it to them.
And we are still reaping the evils that he started with that gift. Every single terrorist attack of the last 40 years lies directly at his feet.
