The end of Pete Buttigieg’s term as mayor of South Bend, Indiana, on Dec. 31 comes at a fortuitous time for him in the Democratic presidential race, freeing him from mayoral obligations a full month before the first state nominating contests begin while his competitors tend to Washington obligations. Buttigieg, 37, will become a full-time candidate as most of his primary competitors are due to be pulled away from Iowa and New Hampshire so they can sit in the Senate observing impeachment proceedings against President Trump. Joe Biden, 77, is the only other top-tier candidate able to campaign unrestricted,

The people of his city need to sue him to get him to come home and actually do the work they are paying him for as mayor!!!! Of course, things are probably running a lot smoother without him there...

Perfect. Get a picture of him and his husband "Chasten' and do a split screen with president Trump and Melania and see who the swing states go for. See who the "black community" goes for. See who the Hispanic community" goes for. It will be an empirical manner to find out how big a percentage of the USA the "LNGTYSKBDRTY community" actually is.

Right! And why wouldn't the Senate just change the rules to make it so everyone can simply "phone it in"? Or perhaps the Senate plans to just railroad this through and get rid of Trump so everyone can campaign as much as he or she likes. I'm not as trustful of the Senators as some of you are: They're just as Uniparty as the House is!

I just hope after The President is impeached that the Senate takes its slow sweet time to call all witnesses and those implicated until April or May during primary season and then acquit the President. I also hope all the criminals that AG Barr and Atty Dunham are prosecuting that also goes on at the same time on national television. The Democrat Party needs to be a minority party for the next 100 years their leaders are scum.

Democratic gaffe machine Joe Biden continued his role as the unofficial chair of the Trump reelection campaign by making another epic blunder that underscores that someone should put a fork in him. Because he’s done. This time, Biden — who never met Kim Jong Un — claimed he “spent a lot of time” with the leader of North Korea. Biden spouted the boldfaced lie during a campaign stop in Iowa on Saturday (Nov. 30). Joe bragged to a tiny roomful of supporters that authoritarian leaders like Kim Jong Un will never fool him because he knows who they are at their core, which is brutal dictators.

An armed bread delivery man named Joseph Chilton foiled a robbery at a Hardee’s fast-food restaurant in Georgia by shooting the armed robber during a gun fight. The robbery suspect, Damario Parrish, was injured after a “short gun battle” with Joseph Chilton, who stepped into action after he heard screams from a Hardee’s restaurant in Ellenwood, Georgia on Nov. 30. No one else was hurt. The Clayton County Sheriff’s Office was so impressed by Chilton’s bravery in “defending those who could not defend themselves” that Sheriff Victor Hill named Chilton an honorary deputy and inducted him into the Sheriff’s Posse Hall of Fame.

The Left is petrified about the near-term prospect that Senate Republicans would quickly replace Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg should her seat became vacant in 2020 following her string of health problems. Specifically, Democrats are terrified that Republicans will fill the Supreme Court with a conservative judge during an election year, which is a rare occurrence. Leftist Twitter users fumed that they have no doubt that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell would replace Ginsburg in a second if her seat opened up. [Tweet] One person sarcastically quipped: “If RBG croaked just after midnight on January 20, 2021, Judge [Jeanine] Pirro would be taking her seat by sunrise.”

Remember a few years ago when the United States was heavily dependent on foreign oil and experts were telling us we'd be a slave to OPEC forever? I remember it well. We fought wars for oil, undermined unfriendly governments for oil, but in the end, we were at the mercy of others for our oil supply. Our economy was held hostage by OPEC, as even a small change in the price of oil would send markets reeling and slow economic growth. But in September, that all pretty much ended. For the first time since records were kept beginning in 1949, the United States became a net exporter of oil.

Sending out an S.O.S.! The missive from the past was written on July 3, 1907 and signed by William Hanley and James Lennon. “When I first saw the date, ‘I was like, 1907?'” Robert Kanaby, who found the note this summer, told NJ.com. “It gave me chills to realize what I had come across.”

The pontiff also had strong words against defeatism and pessimism, urging his hearers to be joyful in witnessing to Christ.

There must’ve been something in the water back in 2012, because everyone on the top of the ballot turned out to be even worse than we originally thought. Barack Obama’s legacy is shot, being destroyed by President Trump and the radical left who now view him (laughably) as a conservative. Joe Biden doesn’t know where he is half the time, the other half has his campaign staff wishing he were somewhere else. Paul Ryan was a feckless Speaker of the House who cut bait and ran once he was free to push all the things he’d sworn for years were his deeply held beliefs.
