Hunter Biden was suspected of smoking crack inside a strip club where he dropped “thousands of dollars” during multiple visits — at the same time he held a seat on the board of a controversial Ukrainian natural gas company, The Post has learned. The incident, which took place at Archibald’s Gentlemen’s Club in Washington, DC, late last year, represents the most recent alleged drug use by Biden, 49, who has acknowledged six stints in rehab for alcoholism and addiction that included a crack binge in 2016. Workers at Archibald’s, located about three blocks north of the White House, said Biden was a regular there, with two bartenders and a security worker

Hunter Biden has been through rehab at least six times, most recently in 2016. Booze, broads and drugs ruined his first marriage, probably ruined his relationship with his former sister-in-law, landed him a paternity suit, yet he still draws a big salary trading on his father's name and influence. It doesn't sound to me like he's anywhere near the point where most addicts decide they need to change.

Yeah, as if gentlemen would frequent such a place. "Going for a thousand" with a stripper was 'Eighties terminology for going into the back room for the full treatment and spending over an hour before emerging, drained of a lot of cash and who knows what else. In some places (by now closed by law enforcement) drugs were tolerated. The late Jon Roberts, one of the original Miami Cocaine Cowboys who got filthy rich, literally, before getting busted and going to prison, made and spent over $50 million prior to 1986. Hunter Biden with his paltry $83K per month Ukrainian sinecure didn't know what it was like to be rich. He was a minnow amongst whales. At a strip club Roberts would amaze male guests by offering the most attractive strippers escalating amounts of cash to go home with either Roberts or the friend. They never failed to get the girl. $5,000 was nothing to these people, most of whom had literally buried millions of undeclared dollars, some of it in the Everglades, in lawn and leaf bags. Roberts's stables of race horses needed $50,000 a month worth of oats and the like. Stash houses had walls built over stacks of money. There wasn't any place to put it all. So they spent nearly all of it. Ill gotten gains are usually squandered. The young Biden probably should have gone to jail years ago, but his pappy pulled a few strings, and the kid got his wrist slapped. It's getting raw on that wrist where he keeps getting slapped. Judging by the son's personal qualities and life decisions, the dim bulb elder Biden wasn't much of a father. He is still an enabler today.

Hunter is just another brain-dead rich boy who lives on money provided by daddy and is now fulfilling his life's prophecy of being a heavy anchor on the old man's neck. We have seen many of his type in the "royal" families of this country. As old Joe himself said, "Classy."

Have never been fond of Foreign Aid. Someone defined Foreign Aid: "Foreign Aid is where poor people in a rich country send money to rich people in a poor country." So Ukraine gets a billion and Quid Pro Joe and his drug addict son Snorter extort a million or more. So I have to pay taxes so Snorter can pay for hookers and cocaine. As PT said America First. Just by comparison, Donald Trump was a rich kid too. Richer even. Rich enough to make Hunter drool (not hard). Donald took the old man's money and did something with it. It is, I think it's understood that families of great wealth dispose of the money in 3 generations. Not so Trump yet. I bet Joe's estate is gone in 2.

I would bet that Hunter is still using. If you’ve had any experience with someone addicted to crack, you know that almost none of them ever manage to stay off of the stuff. Back in the early 90’s I sponsored a young woman in AA (a drug is a drug is a drug) who was a crack addict. She went to rehab, got straight, joined AA and managed to get off of it and stay straight for 4 years. She got married, had two lovely children and then went back to it. Sold her engagement ring and her car for drugs, then abandoned her family and disappeared. I never did find her. I’m about 99.9% sure that she died in the last century.

Hunter is already known to be a mess. I don’t want to see that somehow used as an excuse for the Burisma caper his father pulled off. Thinking about what Joe Biden did about then - being Obama’s man in Ukraine, encouraging natural gas in Ukraine, cozying up to Burisma (never mind that its owner was known to be crooked, corrupt), wrangling a cushy $$$$$$$$ job for his useless son on Burisma’s board, getting the Ukraine’s prosecutor (who was going after Burisma’s corruption) fired and later bragging publicly about having done so…. The son was weak; the father thought he was strong. The sitting president thought it was a heckuva deal… or just didn’t care. There is much to be dug into. Hunter’s habits don’t require much digging...

Now that former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg has announced his candidacy for president, he is -- of course -- fair game. And yes, that's great for us with a working memory. After all, there have been many times when Bloomberg proved himself to be an extremely arrogant member of the Know-It-All elite. Case in point? Just watch this video in which Bloomberg basically explains that it's a great idea to tax the poor because higher taxes mean they have less money to hurt themselves. Or something. "[Some] say, well, 'taxes are regressive.' But in this case, yes they are, that's the good thing about them," Bloomberg said

Former British spy Christopher Steele described FBI Director James Comey’s October 2016 letter to Congress about Hillary Clinton's emails as "unconscionable. Treasonous, really,” according to a new book. At the time, Steele, 55, a former MI6 officer, was working for opposition research company Fusion GPS to investigate connections between Donald Trump, then the 2016 GOP presidential nominee. At the same time, he was a confidential informant for the FBI. His fury over Comey's intervention, which he believed damaged Clinton while concealing what the FBI knew about Trump, prompted him to push for what became known as the "Steele dossier" in the public domain.

One of the most useful defenses against surveillance is countersurveillance, "the process of detecting surveillance devices, including covert listening devices, visual surveillance devices as well as countersurveillance software to thwart unwanted" monitoring by someone else. The best way to prevent spying on people is to spy on the spies and spot them first. Ever since Microsoft won the national defense cloud computing contract they've had an implicit brief to watch all the major hacking threats to that system. The "Big Four" are apparently China, Russia, Iran and North Korea. Though most of the media attention has been focused on Russia even the smaller players pose a threat.

Life was hard in the American West of old. Water could be scarce, infrastructure was non-existant, the natives were sometimes deadly, and the law could be hours or even days away. But hard times breed hard people, and the people who settled the West tamed the West. What was once a wild frontier soon grew into America's economic engine of resource production and technological innovation. Life can be hard in modern Florida, too. Think of the sweltering heat, streets built on top of sinkhole sands, Yankee immigrants who think they can wrestle alligators, and foreign tourists determined to cut in front of you in line at Hollywood Studios.
